NEET 2016 entrance examination was conducted in two phases, NEET 2016 Phase 1 was held on 1 May 2016. It was a difficult time for NEET aspirants at the time as the Phase 1 exam was originally being conducted as AIPMT(All India Pre Medical Test) entrance exam.

But it was replaced by NEET 2016 due to such discrepancies. Many candidates could not appear/register in the NEET 2016 Phase 1 exam, also known as AIPMT 2016. And due to a shortage of registered candidates, Phase 2 was conducted on 24 July 2016, and many candidates appeared in the NEET 2016 exam.

• Biology

• NEET 2016 biology question paper had 90 questions.
• Twenty-two questions were on the medium level, 16 on the easy level, and 7 on the difficulty level, making the whole Biology paper’s difficulty level medium.
• Many questions were asked on Animal Physiology, Biotechnology, Diversity in the Living World, Ecology, Plant Physiology, and the Structural Organisation of plants.

• Chemistry
• Out of all the three sections, Inorganic, Organic, and Physical Chemistry, the Inorganic Chemistry section held the most weightage in NEET 2016 Chemistry paper.
• NEET 2016 question paper chemistry had a total of 45 questions.

• Physics

• Physics has most Medium level difficulty questions; 27 out of 45 were on a medium level.
• Current Electricity, Geometrical Optics, Heat Transfer, Magnetic Effects of Current, Circular Motion, and Modern Physics were discussed the most in the NEET 2016 Physics paper.
• NEET 2016 physics question paper had a total of 45 questions.
