Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management Hooghly was established in the year 2008 by some social workers and educationists to create a centre for excellence. The mission of this institute is to be a student-centric institute imbibing experiential, innovative and lifelong learning skills, addressing societal problems, as well as strengthening national and international, industrial and institutional collaborations for symbiotic relations. It offers undergraduate and diploma courses in the field of engineering with various specialisations, all of which have been approved by AICTE.
