Admissions were first offered for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching courses in the hospital in the year 2008. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Science. ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Kolkata, also called Employees State Insurance Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research & Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Kolkata, is an MCI recognised medical college which was established in 2013. The institute offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in medical science. For admission in both courses, the candidates must have a valid score in the NEET/ NEET-PG examination.
