Academics & Faculty : The college is from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Assignments are given every month and there is two internals every 3 months. Every class is of 40 mins. Teachers are good and quality of teaching is also good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Several Pg's are also available. Quality of food is good. Infrastructure is good.

Clubs & Associations : The college celebrates Saraswati puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Durga Puja, Holi, and Christmas. There are cultural fest and technical fest which is held every year in March and February respectively. In general Life on campus is not so exciting.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student must pass the 12th grade with the good percentage and WBJEE is the entrance exam to get the admission in this college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admission you have to write entrance exam named WBJEE which is being held every year for the students who are apperaring for 10+2 higher secondary exam or have passed with science stream, having maths,physics and chemistry as their core subjects. You need to get the cut off marks to pass the exam so that u can get a rank and can move on to the next step which is the counselling round,where you have to choose the college names and desired stream you want to go for. After that you will have to check the official website of WBJEE where the result of the counselling are being published and then follow the necessary steps as being stated.

Placements & Internships : This year the companies like Tech Mahindra, IOT, JMC visit Hooghly Engineering and Technology College for campus placements. There are projects given to the students regularly.

Clubs & Associations : There is two main festival celebrated in Hooghly Engineering and Technology College campus one is annual fest and another one is a technical fest. Overall experience is not so good but not so bad either.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Hooghly Engineering and Technology College is to clear the JEE MAIN exam. The students have to pass in 12th with 50% of marks in PCM stream. There is no cutoffs but try to get a good rank in JEE MAIN so that you can get the civil or electrical branch in our college.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fee at Hooghly Engineering and Technology College is Rs. 90K per year. The students who score more than 8 CGPA grade gets scholarship facility.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is so hectic at Hooghly Engineering and Technology College. The condition on the classroom is okay for some branch and it is poor for some branches.
