DSAT eligibility criteria 2023 is prescribed by Dayananda Sagar University for the candidates aspiring to apply for DSAT 2023 exam. Aspirants must fulfill the following eligibility standards to appear for DSAT 2023. The eligibility criteria for DSAT 2023 is different for both undergraduate programmes and postgraduate programmes.

DSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria Highlights

Applicants who do not fulfill the DSAT exam 2023 eligibility criteria will not be eligible or be able to apply for the DSAT 2023 Exam. Before filling the DSAT 2023 application form, it is advised for an aspirant to check the eligibility criteria of the DSAT examination.

Every aspirant is advised to go through the DSAT 2023 important dates once they are qualified to take the DSAT 2023.

DSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria For UG Programs

DSU has announced the eligibility criteria for the undergraduate programs for the candidates in order to appear for Dayananda Sagar Admissions Test (DSAT) 2023.

B.Tech [CS/EC/ME/IT]

Applicants should have passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks and the same amount has been reduced down to just 40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Electronics and English as a compulsory subject.

BCA

All candidates should have passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination.

B.Sc [Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry, and Genetics/ Bio-Technology, Chemistry, and Microbiology/Microbiology, Genetics, and Bio-Chemistry]

The aspirants should have passed in 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other Life Science subject as optional and a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects.

BBA

The candidate must have passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination or with any other recognized board.

B.Com

The candidate must have passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination.

B.Pharm

Candidates who have passed two years PUC examination or equivalent examination of Karnataka PUC board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with a minimum percentile amount of 40% marks in stream PCM or PCB or PCMB, PC and Comp.Science, PC, and Electronics.

Pharm.D

The candidate should have passed any of the following examinations-10+2/ PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects, Mathematics or Biology.

B.Sc

The candidate should have passed 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

PB B.Sc

The candidate should have passed in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with Science subjects with 50% marks in aggregate Candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. Candidates should have completed their GNM course on or before 01/06/2023

BPT

The candidate should have passed in 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology with a minimum of 40% mark taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

BA Journalism

The candidate must have achieved Merit in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or Equivalent Examination with any other recognized board as well.

The Dayananda Sagar University announced the eligibility criteria for the Post-graduate programmes for the applicants aspiring to appear for the DSAT Exam 2023.

M.Tech CS [Big Data/Cloud Computing]

The candidate should have passed in BE/BTech or Equivalent in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Bio-Medical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Mechatronics and Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate(45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) and a good score in DSAT/GATE/PGCET Entrance Test

M.Tech EC [Embedded Systems]

The candidate should have passed in BE/BTech or Equivalent in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Bio-Medical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Mechatronics and Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate(45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) and a good score in DSAT/GATE/PGCET Entrance Test.

M.Tech ME [Design Engineering]

The candidate should have passed in BE/BTech or Equivalent in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Bio-Medical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Mechatronics and Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate(45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) and a good score in DSAT/GATE/PGCET Entrance Test.

M.Sc [Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology]

A candidate who has passed B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural, B.E. (Biotechnology), Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy or Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent examination recognized by DSU with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to M.Sc. Eligibility shall be 45% in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates. For admission to M.Sc. Biochemistry, the candidate must have studied either Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the major subjects during Bachelors.

MBA

The candidate should have passed with a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of three years duration recognized by this University or who have passed any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent thereto. The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations. Good Score in DSAT /MAT/CAT/PGCET Entrance Test.

M.Pharm

Candidates should have passed B.pharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

M.Sc

Applicants should have passed BSc/PC BSc/PB BSc Nursing recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Experience: Applicants must have 1 year of experience after BSc Nursing in a hospital or in a community health program or in a school or college of nursing. PB BSc Degree holders need to have one year of experience either before or after Post Basic BSc Nursing degree.

MPT

Candidates should have passed BPT from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
