PESSAT Counselling 2024 first round for B.Tech programs will be conducted from May 25 - 26, 2024 after the declaration of PESSAT Result 2024. PES University is the organizing body of the PESSAT counselling 2024 for eligible candidates who qualify for the examination.
Candidates who are shortlisted must complete registration for taking part in the counselling process which will be conducted offline. Once the registration is complete, candidates must fill the choices of courses as per their preferences.
There will be 2 rounds of PESSAT 2024 counselling held for candidates. The seat allotment will be done based on the ranks obtained by the candidates, seat availability and preferences. Candidates will receive a counselling call letter for PESSAT 2024 on their registered email address.

PESSAT Counselling Dates 2024
PES University will release the official dates for PESSAT 2024 counselling. The official dates are updated as and when they are announced. Meanwhile, candidates can check the first round dates for the same in the table below.

PESSAT 2024 Counselling Eligibility
Candidates must satisfy the below requirements to be eligible for the PESSAT counselling 2024. These include the following list.
- Apart from qualifying PESSAT 2024 examination, candidates will have to upload their 10+2/2nd PUC Scores or equivalent marks once the results are declared.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM of 12th standard or equivalent exam.
- In case, the candidates fail to bring the required documents at the counselling centre, then they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
Note: PESSAT Counselling Venues will be there in Bangalore only. Aspirants are requested to report at the counselling centres at the allotted date & time.

PESSAT 2024 Counselling Procedure
The counselling process for PESSAT 2024 requires the following procedures:
- It is only after the selection of the candidate is done by the PES University, the PESSAT Counselling 2024 is held.
- Counselling for PESSAT 2024 will be carried out in 3 steps, First round, submission of documents and then the second round of Counselling.
- Candidates who have secured the exam cut off score and whose name has been announced in the first round counselling list have to appear in the first round of counselling.
- Applicants whose names have been announced in the first round of PESSAT counselling results should first fill an application regarding their secured marks and other details.
- Candidates will be informed of the counselling process through the website or through the email id that the candidate has provided.
- In any case, the candidate fails to attend the counselling process then the respective seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate.
- It is advised to take original and photocopied documents for counselling/interview round.

PESSAT Seat Allotment 2024
Seat allotment is an important part of the selection process. Candidates will be receiving admissions based on their rank. The seats will be allotted based on factors such as student's choices from the option entry section, availability of the seats, and rank secured by them in the examination. After the seat allotment is done, candidates have the following options to accept or forfeit the seat allotted to them.
- Option A-Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat must select Option A and move forward to produce the demand draft and original documents in person to the admissions council of the university.
- Option B-Candidates who are satisfied with the seat but unable to produce original documents must select Option B. Attested copies of documents can be produced within the stipulated time with the demand draft but the admission is subject to disqualification if originals are not produced within the commencement of classes.
- Option C- This option must be selected if the candidate rejects the allotted seat.
- Option D-If candidates want to forfeit the seat and participate in the second round of counselling.
PESSAT 2024 Counselling: Round II for KCET/COMEDK Candidates
The second round of counselling will be held on a casual vacancy basis for candidates who have secured a rank through KCET or COMEDK entrance exams. They must enter their qualifying exam marks onto the counselling registration form.
- Candidates who have attempted both the exams must submit both the scores out of which the best score will be considered for admissions
- The admission list will be released by the authorities. The admissions will be done under PESSAT qouta.

- Rank card of PESSAT 2024 Results
- Photocopy of results
- Birth Certificate
- Passport size photos (6 numbers) and stamp size colour photos (6 Numbers)
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet (in case of PG admission)
- Transfer certificate from the school last attended
- Migration certificate from the school last attended
- Character certificate from the school last attended
- PESSAT Admit Card 2024
- Admission Order & Rank Card MQT Admission Order
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
- Registration for Admission Fee in cash/DD (as mentioned in the brochure)
