UPCATET counselling 2024 will have three rounds for UG and PG courses. The round 2 UPCATET seat allotment 2024 result will be released on Jul 14, 2024. Candidates who are allotted seats must submit the required documents for verification between Jul 14 - 16, 2024.

The security deposit must be submitted within Jul 15 - 18, 2024. In addition, candidates must report to their concerned colleges between Jul 16 - 19, 2024. UPCATET counselling will be conducted offline as well as online. A non-refundable fee is to be paid by the qualifying candidates as they register for the counselling events of UPCATET 2024.

Applicants who qualify for the UPCATET 2024 exam will be called for the counselling sessions and based on the overall result the seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their preferences. Applicants must check the page to be updated with the latest notification for UPCATET 2024.

For each round of UPCATET counselling 2024, candidates will have to pay INR 500/- as a counselling fee and is non-refundable. During the in-person counselling, candidates must bring a copy of their UPCATET 2024 counselling letter and the other relevant documents with them.

Steps for Online UPCATET 2024 Counselling

UPCATET counselling 2024 round 2 seat allotment result will be released on Jul 14, 2024. Candidates must submit the required documents for verification between Jul 14 - 16, 2024.

After noting the important dates pertaining to the UPCATET 2024 counselling sessions, candidates must register online within the stipulated time. Candidates eligible with the qualifying score can find the detailed procedure for UPCATET counselling 2024 and can follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Registration and Uploading of Documents and Fee Payment

The first step to avail of the services of counselling, candidates are required to register themselves on the official website.

• Students must visit the official website, www.online.upcatetexam.org.
• They must select the “Password Creator for Counselling” option from the notification bar.
• Candidates must enter the credentials such as registration number and date of birth and click on the “Generate OTP” tab.
• The OTP will be sent to the registered number. Applicants must enter the same into the blank and click submit.
• Candidates must enter the new password and click on “Save Password”.
• They must login to the portal using the provided credentials and upload all the documents required which are mentioned in the article below in detail.
• The screen will be redirected to the fee payment portal where candidates are needed to pay INR 500/- as a counselling fee.

Step 2: Online Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates must choose their most preferred option of college along with the program through the online choice filling option.

• Once the uploaded documents are verified, Candidates can access the online portal to fill in their choice.
• Upon doing so, candidates must lock the choices before the final dates as allocation of seats will be done on the basis of the same.

Step 3: Seat Allocation and Security Fee Deposit

The seat allocation process will confirm the candidate's enrollment into the college of their choice based on the choice filling option provided by the authorities.

• The seat allocation is done based on the merit achieved by the candidates in UPCATET 2024, cut off, as well as the seat availability in the participating institutes.
• Candidates who are awarded seats are required to deposit a security fee of INR 5000/- online.
• Once the payment has been successfully made, candidates will be able to download their offer letter.

Note: Candidates will next be required to appear at the respective university for admission and document verification and further completion of the admission process.

Step 4: Reporting to Respective Colleges

After the seat allottment letter has been made available for respective candidates, they must visit the respective college for document verification and complete the admission process in person. The security fee of INR 5000/- must be paid to the admissions council of the institution. Upon this, the candidate will be deemed as part of that institution.
