Delhi NCR is seeing a rise in the number of law students applying for admissions to LLB colleges, or colleges that provide courses on LLB studies. This is a lot harder to achieve given how most students don’t know how the process works. It starts with the Bar Council of India. As part of their statutory functions of legal education promotion, they visit each law institute to inspect and verify the quality of the education provided.
The colleges will undergo an inspection process wherein a decision to let the institute carry its functions as one of the law colleges in Delhi forward or not would be made. This is done through the inspection teams sent by the Bar Council itself. The reports would then be submitted to the Legal Education Committee, who will analyse the reports and mark their decision as final, whichever decision that may be.
