Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG 2024 Counselling
Candidates who want to register for the Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024 must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate is required to be registered with the state National Medical Commission (NMC).
- The applicant should have studied MBBS from an institute based in Arunachal Pradesh and must be a bonafide resident of the state. Alternatively, candidates who have completed MBBS from any NMC-recognised institution are also eligible to apply.
- The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotatory internship. (on/before March 31, 2024).

Important Instructions by MCC
It should be noted that Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024 for 50% of the All India Quota seats will be conducted by MCC. It will organise counselling for the below-mentioned universities/institutions:
- 50% of AIQ seats (except J&K)
- 100% seats (AIQ+Institutional Quota seats) of central universities (Delhi University/Banaras Hindu University/Aligarh Muslim University).
- Deemed universities account for 100% of seats.
- 50% AIQ PG seats of institutes under ESIC.
- All postgraduate seats of Armed Forces Medical Services institutes (only registration).
- Central institutions, PGIMSR, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Basaidarapur (50% AIQ seats of 50% IP University seats), ABVIMS & RML Hospital.

Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG 2024 Counselling Process
The step-by-step process of Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024 has been explained in this section.
Step 1: Online Registration and Security Money Payment
Firstly, candidates are required to register themselves by visiting the official website of DME: apdhte.nic.in and filling out the application form. Then, they need to pay the prescribed security money fees.
Step 2: Release of Merit List
Authorities will prepare a merit list wherein the names of all the NEET qualified candidates. Candidates will be able to check out the merit list on the official website once it is released. The candidates who are included in the list will be able to proceed with the counselling process.
Step 3: Online Filling of Choices
In this step, candidates must fill in their choices of colleges and courses by logging into the official website using their NEET roll number and password. Remember that the choice-filling process will only be completed after the candidates lock in their choices. However, they will not be able to make any changes once the choices are locked.
Step 4: Seat Allotment List
The concerned authority will release the seat allotment list after the choice-filling process is over. This list will be prepared by the authorities based on the choices filled, reservation criteria, NEET PG 2024 rank, and the merit position of the applicant.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Candidates who will be assigned seats will have to report in person to the respective institute to complete the Arunachal Pradesh MBBS admission process. They will be required to carry all the required documents (original and attested photocopies) along with them. In case the candidate fails to report by the due date, the authorities will forfeit his/her allotted seat.
