BITSAT 2023 is organised by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, to shortlist candidates for its integrated first-degree science, engineering, and pharmacy programs. The application process for session II is open from 22 May 2023 to 12 Jun 2023. BITSAT session 2 exam ends on Jun 22, 2023.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Below are listed the specific BITSAT 2023 eligibility criteria for various courses offered by BITS. Before applying for the BITSAT 2023 exam, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements.

For all programs (except B.Pharm)

Candidates who have completed class 12 or equivalent exams from an accredited board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects are eligible to apply. Candidates must also have a strong command of English.

• The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and at least a 60% score in each of these subjects individually.
• The candidates must score at least 60% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics individually and a minimum of 75% overall in these subjects.
• Candidates appearing in 12th-grade can also apply.

For B.Pharm

An applicant should have passed the 12th or equivalent Physics, Chemistry, and Biology examinations from a recognized board.

• Pharmacy courses are open to candidates with PCM.
• A minimum score of 75% is needed for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology examination, while 60% marks are required in each subject separately.
• BITSAT 2023 is also open to appearing candidates

How to Apply for BITSAT 2023?

Candidates must apply for the exam within the BITSAT registration 2023. Here is how to apply to the BITSAT by visiting the official website.

• Candidates must log in to the official website and BITSAT 2023 registration before filling out the application form.
• Submit a photo and signature in the required format and do the application fee payment using the available payment options, including offline/ online mode using credit cards, debit cards, and net banking.
• Next, they must upload the scanned photo and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• The recommended size of the photo is between 1 KB to 30 KB.
• Candidates can submit three preferences for exam centres once they have submitted all the required details.
• Print off a copy of the application for your reference.

BITSAT 2023 Counselling

BITSAT 2023 counselling dates are announced by the officials after the results are released. Candidates can fill up the form and apply for counselling as they perform in the examination. The minimum cutoffs are to be acquired for participating in the counselling. 

The steps involved in counselling 2023 are as follows:

• First, the candidates must fill up the counselling by paying the fees.
• Second, they need to upload all the documents required for counselling. 
• Third, the conducting authority will release the merit list/ admission list.
• Fourthly, candidates whose name is on the list must report to the college and pay the course fee. 
• Lastly, suppose any candidates did not get a seat during the allotment through counselling. In that case, they must wait for the official authority to release the vacant seat count.
