Candidates who graduate in various engineering disciplines like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Chemical are eligible for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024.

The application form for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 will be available online on the official website- iocl.com. The detailed procedure for filling out the application form for IOCL GATE 2024 recruitment is given below.
- Registration: Candidates should first enter the following details to successfully complete the IOCL GATE registration process:
- Discipline applying for
- GATE 2024 Registration Number
- Date of Birth
- Fill out the application form for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 by entering personal, academic, and address details.
- Candidates must download their GATE 2024 admit card and use the registration number mentioned in the admit card to log in.
- Candidates should make sure to enter the correct GATE 2024 registration number and the exact name used during the registration. Any additional questions also need to be answered precisely.
- Then, they should click on the ‘Submit’ button to submit the completed application after which a unique IOCL application ID/number is generated along with the submitted application form.
Candidates must note this IOCL application number/ID for future reference. - Next, the candidates should download the IOCL GATE 2024 recruitment application form through GATE 2024 and take a printout of the same for future reference.
A passport photograph (identical to the one used in GATE 2024) should be affixed to the printed application form. - Candidates should also put their signature at the designated place and keep it ready for verification purposes if selected and called for GD/GT and Personal Interview.

Candidates who secure a minimum of 40% marks in GD/GT and PI are considered for the merit list for IOCL GATE 2024. The other details considered for the selection process for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 are listed below:
- Candidates who qualify for GATE 2024 in the respective discipline are eligible for shortlisting if they meet the set criteria. IOCL has released the shortlisting status of the qualifying candidates on its official website.
- Shortlisted candidates have to participate in Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT), and Personal Interview (PI) to assess different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude, and aptitude, after which recruitment will be done.
- The final merit is prepared discipline-wise. In order to be considered for the merit list, the candidates must secure at least 40% marks in GD/GT and PI.
- Merely qualifying in the GATE 2024 examination does not guarantee a shortlist for GD, GT, and PI.
