IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 notification will be released online by IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) tentatively in June 2024. The process of IOCL recruitment through the GATE exam is also expected to begin in June 2024.

Civil, Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering graduates will be eligible to apply for IOCL GATE recruitment 2024 by filling out the online application form.

Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2024

Candidates who graduate in various engineering disciplines like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Chemical are eligible for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024.

The other eligibility requirements to be fulfilled by candidates for IOCL GATE 2024 are as follows:

	M.Tech Candidates: Students who have completed/are pursuing M.Tech in any discipline are also eligible to apply for IOCL GATE 2024 provided they have appeared in GATE 2024 exam in the eligible discipline and completed a B.Tech./BE degree in relevant disciplines. For Integrated ME/ M.Tech Candidates: Such candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have completed/are completing the course requirement for BE/ B.Tech in any one of the core disciplines advertised. During the time of interview and selection, the candidates must possess and produce both BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech degrees.
	Who is not eligible for IOCL GATE 2024? Candidates who have completed/are pursuing their graduation in combined/integrated disciplines/inter-disciplinary subjects like Mechatronics/Robotics are not considered eligible.
Pass Percentage	General and OBC (NCL) category candidates must have secured a minimum of 65% marks aggregate in the qualifying examination. SC/ST and PwD candidates should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
Final year students	At the time of applying for IOCL GATE 2024, candidates coming under the General & OBC-NCL categories must have secured a minimum of 65% aggregate marks. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD categories are required to have obtained at least 55% aggregate marks.
OBC-NCL Reservation Certificate	The caste & community of the candidates should be listed in the ‘Central List of Other Backward Classes’ and the candidates should not belong to the creamy layer.
Age Limit	The age limit for IOCL through GATE 2024 varies based on the category and the post. Candidates coming under the general category should not be more than 28 years of age. Relaxation for reserved candidates is as per government regulations. The age limit is 30 years for assistant officers in quality control.
NOC	Candidates employed in government/semi-government/central/state government departments/public sector undertakings need to produce a NOC from their employer at the time of the interview.

IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2024 Application Process

The application form for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 will be available online on the official website- iocl.com. The detailed procedure for filling out the application form for IOCL GATE 2024 recruitment is given below.

• Registration: Candidates should first enter the following details to successfully complete the IOCL GATE registration process:
• Discipline applying for
• GATE 2024 Registration Number
• Date of Birth
• Fill out the application form for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 by entering personal, academic, and address details.
• Candidates must download their GATE 2024 admit card and use the registration number mentioned in the admit card to log in.
• Candidates should make sure to enter the correct GATE 2024 registration number and the exact name used during the registration. Any additional questions also need to be answered precisely.
• Then, they should click on the ‘Submit’ button to submit the completed application after which a unique IOCL application ID/number is generated along with the submitted application form.
  Candidates must note this IOCL application number/ID for future reference.
• Next, the candidates should download the IOCL GATE 2024 recruitment application form through GATE 2024 and take a printout of the same for future reference.
  A passport photograph (identical to the one used in GATE 2024) should be affixed to the printed application form.
• Candidates should also put their signature at the designated place and keep it ready for verification purposes if selected and called for GD/GT and Personal Interview.

Selection Process for IOCL GATE 2024 Recruitment

Candidates who secure a minimum of 40% marks in GD/GT and PI are considered for the merit list for IOCL GATE 2024. The other details considered for the selection process for IOCL recruitment through GATE 2024 are listed below:

• Candidates who qualify for GATE 2024 in the respective discipline are eligible for shortlisting if they meet the set criteria. IOCL has released the shortlisting status of the qualifying candidates on its official website.
• Shortlisted candidates have to participate in Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT), and Personal Interview (PI) to assess different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude, and aptitude, after which recruitment will be done.
• The final merit is prepared discipline-wise. In order to be considered for the merit list, the candidates must secure at least 40% marks in GD/GT and PI.
• Merely qualifying in the GATE 2024 examination does not guarantee a shortlist for GD, GT, and PI.
