NEET PG merit list 2024 has been released at the official website of NBEMS on Aug 23, 2024. NEET PG 2024 AIQ merit list released on Sep 5, 2024. NEET PG 2024 merit list with 50% AIQ is accessible at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Students named in the AIQ merit list are eligible to participate in MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 for 50% AIQ MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses/Post MBBS DNB/Direct 6 years DrNB Courses and NBEMS Diploma Courses.

The National Board of Examinations has announced the merit list for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Candidates can get their NEET PG 2024 scorecard for the All India 50% Quota on Sep 10, 2024.

NBEMS has published the NEET PG result 2024 and merit list for NEET PG 2024 in PDF format. NEET PG exam merit list will include information such as roll number, percentile obtained, position, and so on.

Further, the qualifying NEET PG cut off 2024 for the general category is expected to be 291. For candidates from the physically handicapped NEET PG exam merit list category it is likely to be 274, and for candidates from the reserved category is 257.NEET PG 2024 exam was conducted on Aug 11 2024.

Steps to Download NEET PG 2024 Merit List

Students who have been named in the NEET PG merit list PDF 2024 are now eligible to participate in MCC NEET PG counselling 2024, which will be held for 50% AIQ seats in MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses/Post MBBS DNB/Direct 6 years DrNB Courses and NBEMS Diploma Courses at medical and dental colleges across India. 

Candidates can follow the step-by-step instructions below to download the merit list for NEET PG 2024:

• Step 1: Candidates must go to the official website at nbe.edu.in, to download the NEET PG merit list 2024.
• Step 2: Under the entrance exams section, candidates can click on the NEET PG tab. Then, click on NEET PG Merit List 2024.
• Step 3: Candidates will find the official notice on their screen. Now they can go to “click here to view the merit list of NEET PG 2024.”
• Step 4: NEET PG 2024 merit list will appear on your screen. Candidates must verify all the details and download the list in PDF format.

The respective state counselling committees will prepare a combined as well as category-wise NEET PG merit list 2024. If 2 or more candidates obtain the same rank, NBE uses the tie-breaking method to resolve the tie. Types of NEET PG Merit List

NEET PG merit list 2024 comprises of many details such as 50% AIQ rank, category rank, etc. Candidates can refer to the following types of merit lists that the NBE releases for NEET PG 2024:

• NEET PG merit rank: This list consists of the roll number of candidates who appeared for NEET PG exam 2024. The authorities will allot rank to the aspirants according to their qualifying status.
• 50% All India Quota (AIQ) rank: It mentions the names of candidates who have cleared the exam and are eligible for the counselling of 50% AIQ seats. The NEET PG merit list 2024 does not include candidates who belong to Jammu & Kashmir.
• All India 50% Category rank: This is a category-wise merit list and contains NEET PG 2024 ranks of candidates according to their categories. The list is valid for 50% of AIQ seats only.
• State/Union Territories NEET 2024 PG merit list: The counselling committees of respective states/UTs prepare separate merit lists based on the NEET PG Merit List 2024. Through this merit list, candidates get admission to 50% of state quota seats & all seats in private institutes.

Q. Does a higher rank in the NEET PG Merit List guarantee a better college seat?

Ans. Getting higher scores or marks ensures that the candidate's rank will be good. Which means they will be securing marks close to the toppers. While scoring a good rank increases the chances of getting a seat at your desired college, however, it does not necessarily guarantee it. 

NEET PG Merit List 2024 Qualifying Percentile

Candidates must achieve the minimum NEET PG cutoff 2024 marks as specified by the authorities. NBE will release the qualifying cutoffs for different categories. The expected NEET PG 2024 cut off marks are shown in the following table. 

NEET PG Merit List Tie Breaking Criteria

If two or more candidates obtain equal ranks, the authority will use the following process to break the tie to allot ranks for NEET PG merit list 2024:

• Candidates having fewer negative responses in Part A+B+C will get a higher rank.
• Those with better marks in Part C will achieve higher ranks.
• Aspirants with fewer negative attempts in Part C will secure a higher rank.
• Those who get better marks in Part B will receive a better rank.
• Candidates with fewer negative answers in Part B will earn a higher rank.
• Those with higher marks in Part A of the paper will be higher than other candidates.
• Aspirants with fewer negative attempts in Part A of NEET PG will get preference.
• Lastly, the authorities will break the tie by awarding a higher rank to the older age candidate.

NEET PG 2024 Result

NBE released the NEET PG result 2024 on its official website on Aug 23, 2024. Candidates achieving the required qualifying percentile are included in the list of NEET PG 2024 results. Moreover, NBE published the result in a PDF format. Those who qualified for NEET PG 2024 can download the scorecard through the official website using their User ID and password.

What is After NEET PG Merit List 2024?

On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will organise the NEET PG 2024 counselling. The counselling process will take place for admission to 50% of AIQ seats and all seats of ESIC/AFMC colleges and central/deemed universities.

There will be a total of 3 rounds in the process of NEET PG 2024 counselling. However, the authorities will conduct the third round only for the central/deemed and ESIC institutes.

The respective state committees will conduct NEET PG counselling 2024 based on the state-wise merit list. The state-wise counselling will be held for the remaining 50% of state quota seat admissions and all seats in private medical institutes of the particular state.
