Those who pass it will be called up for counselling and admission according to their rankings.
Bharati Vidyapeeth had its own entrance exam.
Now admissions are done according to NEET. It is according to NEET cutoff.
Placements & Internships :
During the internship, you have to practise at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College for 1 year which includes all subject postings for certain time.
If you don't want to do the internship at Bharati Hospital then you have to submit your documents and get a transfer.
The stipend is not given as it is donated to Bharati Research Institute.
Fees & Scholarships :
The course fee at BVMC, Pune is Rs.7 lakh per annum; which changes every year or two.
No scholarship options are available.
Academics & Faculty :
College timings at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College are from 9am to 4pm.
Clinics are from morning till 12, after a break of an hour there are 2-3 lectures.
Annual system is there and 2 semester exams and the University exam in January.
The teaching is excellent and lecturers teach with slide shows and specimens.
There are extracurricular activities like sports week and youth festival.
We have a college magazine and a great cultural committee.
So the college not only encourages for studies but also to pursue your hobbies and passions
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
At BVMC, there is a hostel for girls inside the campus and that for boys is outside the campus.
Hostels are very nice, neat and clean and are very close to college and hospital.
Hostel fees are taken annually Rs.2 lakhs.
Food available in the canteen is good and mess food is also of good quality and healthy.
Cost per meal is about 25 bucks or less (for the mess).
Classrooms are provided with projector system and A/C. It's big and adequate space is there.
Labs are well equipped, clean and each student gets the opportunity for experiments.
Library has thousands of books related to medicine subjects and is provided with 2 study halls.
