- The candidates should be Indian citizens and have the required educational qualifications from Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates should have qualified SSC examination conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh. Students should have qualified for class 10 or any equivalent examination.
- Students should have Maths as a compulsory subject and should have passed with a 35% aggregate.
- Students belonging to other boards like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council of Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS), and others are supposed to score an aggregate of 35% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidates who have already appeared for SSC and expecting their results or candidates who have applied to appear for SSC next year are also eligible for AP POLYCET 2025.
- AP POLYCET does not have any age restrictions. Candidates opting for scholarships might have age constrain to receive the scholarship. The scholarships are given by the Social Welfare Department.
