Introduction to CSSET 2023
- Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test is abbreviated as CSSET conducted by Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, to allow candidates to gain admission at Sanskrit deemed universities.
- The Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test (CSSET) allows the candidate to apply for three Universities concentrating on the Sanskrit language.
- Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan: It is a premier Institution for promoting Sanskrit studies in India and abroad. Founded in 1970, it is the biggest Sanskrit University in the world today. Development of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan as a world-class university for the establishment of the glory of Sanskrit learning in the global context.
- Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha: Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha is a Deemed University in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The school was established in 1956 under the Ministry of Education by Government of India to propagate Sanskrit studies, traditional Sastras and Pedagogy. The Professional Programmes offered in the university are Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) Admission to all the UG and PG courses are based on the merit of the student considering their qualifying examination results as well as Personal Interview. For admission to B.Ed, M.Ed, Ph.D programmes, the university conducts different entrance tests.
- Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth: Sanskrit language university, located in New Delhi, India. It was established on 8 October 1962, and the University Grants Commission, granted the status of a deemed university to the Vidyapeetha in November 1987., the second most prestigious university for classical India studies in North India

- The CSSET 2023 Exam will be conducted for B.Ed courses in different cities all across the country.
- It is a competitive exam which allows the candidate to enroll for B.Ed program.
- The CSSET is a national level examination. It is held once every year.
- The Exam Syllabus consisting of different topics under Knowledge of Sanskrit Linguistic Components, Creative Writing, Comprehension, Teaching Aptitude, Sanskrit Literature, Proficiency in Sanskrit, General Knowledge and Mental Ability. All the candidates applying for CSSET must meet all the eligibility requirements as mentioned by the examination committee.

CSSET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The institution organizing the CSSET examination has a defined eligibility criterion which has to be met by all the candidates applying for the examination. Candidates must have completed Shastri or B.A. (With Sanskrit) in 10+2+3 Scheme and/or M.A. (Sanskrit) from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks in the qualifying examination. All the candidates applying for CSSET 2023 must have completed the age of 20 as of October 1st, 2023.

CSSET 2023 Application Form
CSSET 2023 Application Form will be avaialbe on the official website. An application fee of Rs.1000 needs to be paid at the time of registration, payment can be either online through debit/credit card or Net banking or offline through challan.

CSSET 2023 Admit Card
CSSET 2023 Admit Card will be available on the official website. All the candidates are required to log in to their account with the application form number to gain access to the admit card. Candidates must carry CSSET Admit Card along with them at the Exam Centre otherwise, he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
NOTE: All the candidates are required to carry valid government authorized identification along with their admit card to the venue on the day of examination.

CSSET 2023 Exam Pattern
CSSET 2023 exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e, Pen and Paper-based. The time duration for the candidate to attempt the CSSET will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. CSSET 2023 will be divided into two main sections. The first main section will have 4 subsections involving the main subjects. The second main section will have questions framed to test the candidate's proficiency in the Sanskrit language.

CSSET 2023 Syllabus
CSSET 2023 candidates are expected to be aware of the syllabus followed by the CSSET 2023.
- CSSET 2023 question paper is 200 marks, contains 2 sections.
- Part A consists of 160 marks.
- Part B consist of 40 marks.
- Each question in part-A carries equal marks.
- The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer.
- Every question in Part B carries equal marks i.e. 10 marks for a single answer.
- There is no negative marking in this exam.
- There is no deduction of marks for blank answers.

CSSET 2023 Results
CSSET 2023 Results will be announced on the official website. To see the results, the candidate should log in to the official page, using their login credentials; which is their registered email ID and password. All the candidates are advised to have a copy of the result for future reference/use. Based on the result and selection list candidates are permitted to attend the counselling process.

CSSET 2023 Counselling
CSSET 2023 Counselling Process will start soon. Candidates must visit the official website for checking the counselling dates. All the candidates shortlisted based on the ranking and performance on their written CSSET 2023 examination can register for the counselling process on the official website. The student shortlist will be formed on the basis of the candidate's performance on the written exam and the rank they managed to secure in the examination process. The candidates qualified for counselling must report at the venue as per date and time scheduled.
Note: CSSET 2023 Counselling will be held in all the three centres. The qualified candidates must be physically present for the counselling process.
