IIFT Test Practice Centres (TPC)
The Ministry of Human Resource Development mandated the NTA to set up, establish and create a network of Tests Practice Centres for candidates, especially in remote and rural areas to enable them to practice and be comfortable with taking a Computer Based Test (CBT). Read the information given below to know more about the TPCs.
- This facility is completely free of cost for all candidates.
- Candidates can register online (on the NTA website) where they are provided with a convenient TPC near their location to practice on a given computer node.
- This facilitates and eases the process of being able to take a Computer Based Test (CBT). The entire experience of using a computer is close to the actual experience of taking a CBT.
- All efforts are made to provide practice tests and questions so that candidates can familiarize themselves with logging into the system, go through the detailed instructions regarding the test,
use the mouse or numeric keyboard on-screen (virtual) for attempting each question, scroll down to the next question, navigate between questions, review and edit their options and submit questions.

- If an applicant wants to switch test locations for a good cause, they must pay an additional INR 500 cost.

COVID-19 Guidelines for IIFT Exam
IIFT exam 2024 will be administered by the NTA in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Indian government to protect candidates' health and safety and stop the spread of COVID-19. The following are the most crucial instructions to remember on test day:
- The seating area will be completely cleaned and disinfected before the exam begins, as well as all door handles, stair railings, elevator buttons, etc.
- According to GOI requirements, there will be a space between each pair of seats inside the testing area.
- To maintain physical distance, candidates must arrive at their designated IIFT exam centre by the reporting/entry time specified on the admission card.
- At all times, there must be a minimum of six feet between candidates.
- At all times, exam administrators will wear a mask and gloves. Metal detectors that can be carried about will be used for contact-free frisking.
- Candidates and Center personnel may use hand sanitiser at the entrance and in several locations across the exam site. Before entering, candidates must wash their hands with soap and hand sanitiser to sterilise their hands.
- Thermometers will be used to assess each candidate's body temperature at the entrance. Candidates must take the exam in a separate room if their body temperature is higher than the COVID-19 standards.
- To prevent crowding at any one location in any circumstance, room numbers will not be displayed outside the Center. The candidates will be given the room/hall number at the registration desk.
- At the registration counter, documentation, including the admission card, will be verified.
- Before entering, the candidate will be given a brand-new three-ply mask. Only the freshly supplied mask will be permitted for the candidates to wear at the Center.
- At the entrance, bar code readers will be on hand to scan the IIFT 2024 admit card's bar code. The candidates will then be given the room or hall number.
- Before the exam begins, invigilators wearing gloves will place five rough sheets at each desk to ensure sanitation.
- When the exam is over, the applicants are free to leave in an organised fashion while keeping a safe distance from one another.
- Any candidate who disobeys the COVID-19 government guidelines or recommendations risks having their access to the IIFT exam centre refused.
