Jain University provides scholarship options to candidates applying for engineering at the university through the JUST 2024 exam. Candidates can avail of scholarships for both regular and lateral entry schemes in B.Tech under the JUST 2024 exam.

Candidates are required to make sure that they clear or meet the JUST 2024 eligibility criteria prior to applying for the exam. Failing to meet the eligibility requirements will result in the candidates being deemed ineligible, and the application forms are considered invalid.

Important Details About JUST Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for both regular and lateral entry of B.Tech programs are given below. The applicants must make sure they satisfy these criteria to be considered eligible for the scholarship test.

B.Tech (Regular)

The applicants must pass the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subjects.

As optional with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) taken together in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects.

B. Tech. (Lateral Entry)

In the lateral entry option, candidates are directly admitted to the third semester (2nd year) of the B.Tech degree program at the School of Engineering and Technology.

The candidate should have a diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution with 45% marks (40% in the case of SC/ST) in the final year examination. They are required to clear the prescribed subjects as specified by Jain University.

JUST Eligibility for Scholarship

The scholarship is offered to Indian nationals and awarded to students of Jain University only.

Scholarships are reviewed on a regular basis by the Jain University Scholarship Committee (JUSC). The committee reserves the right to introduce new scholarships or to cease the award of scholarships at any time.

The eligibility criteria for each scholarship and agreement on the number of scholarships to be awarded annually are approved by JUSC. The committee also supports the selection and renewal process.

Scholarship within each category is awarded on the basis of merit (subject to the number of scholarships available in each category for that year) and by any means not tested or otherwise influenced by any other award/ grant, etc., held by the scholarship applicant. The scholarship is not transferable.

Age Group 17 years - 21 years
Year of Award

The sports scholarship shall be for a period of 3 years. After the completion of one year, the performance of the players will be reviewed, based on his performance/achievements at the State level / National level and All India Ranking tournaments. Based on the same, sports scholarship will be extended for the second year. The extension for the third year will be based on the performance in the 2nd year of sport's scholarship.

In case the performance of a player in the 1st year is not up to the mark, JUSC may terminate the scholarship granted to the upcoming sport's scholar.
