NTA administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to several undergraduate medical programmes in India. It is India's biggest and most significant medical entrance exam. The only entrance exam for enrollment in any medical programme in India is NEET. NEET results are now being utilised for admission to BSc Nursing programmes as of 2021. The table below contains information about the NEET exam dates for aspirants.
NEET is a 200-minute, or three hours and twenty minutes, long paper-and-pencil (PBT) or offline test. Three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are covered on the test. Additionally, there are two portions for each subject: Section A (35 questions) and Section B. (15 questions). Candidates must attempt 10 of the Section B's 15 questions. Each question is worth four points, and one point is subtracted for each incorrect response. NEET has a total score of 720. English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Urdu are the 13 languages in which the exam is offered.
NEET UG 2023 exam date has not yet been made public by NTA. But no dates have been set for further events. NEET 2023 tentative dates are provided in the table below.

In India, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma/DNB post-MBBS courses. Scores from NEET PG are frequently accepted for enrollment in these programmes. The test lasts for 3.5 hours and is given in computer-based style (CBT). 200 multiple-choice questions are present (MCQs). Four marks will be awarded for each accurate response, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Three parts with varied numbers of questions make up the question paper. English is used as the questions' language.
Except for the exam date, NBE has not yet released the NEET PG 2023 exam dates. NEET PG 2023 tentative dates are provided in the table below.

NEET MDS, also known as the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination for MDS courses, is another test that NBE administers. For admission to postgraduate dentistry programmes in India, NEET MDS is held only once a year. The three-hour NEET MDS computer-based exam consists of 240 multiple-choice questions. Each question is worth four marks, deducting one for each incorrect response.

AIIMS, Delhi administers the INI CET for admission to its postgraduate programmes. In addition to MD/MS programmes, admission to the six-year DM/MCh programmes provided at AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS is also based on test results. The same entrance exam is used for admission to the MDS programmes at this institute. Every year, in Jan and Jul, AIIMS PG is administered.

Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, popularly known as FMGE, is conducted by NBE. FMGE is a licensing examination conducted for those who wish to practice medicine in India but have completed their primary medical qualification outside India. FMGE is conducted twice a year. One must note that clearing this examination will lead to admissions rather than a practising license.
The mode of this exam is online. FMGE is conducted for 300 minutes. The total number of questions for the exam is 300, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking scheme in the exam. The exam will be conducted in two phases of 2.5 hours duration each.

NTA administers the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, or AIAPGET. An entrance exam called AIAPGET is given in India to those seeking admission to postgraduate AYUSH programmes. Candidates who pass the AIAPGET test are eligible to apply for admission to MS, MD, or postgraduate diploma programmes in either of the AYUSH disciplines of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, or Homeopathy.
AIAPGET is administered in a computer-based modality over two hours (CBT). There will be 120 multiple-choice questions on the test, worth 480 points. There will be two shifts for the exam. Each question carries four marks, with one mark deducted for each incorrect response.

NBE administers the Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test, also known as DNB PDCET. DNB PDCET is held, as its name implies, to admit students to DNB programmes in India. To apply for the DNB PDCET exam, candidates must have a postgraduate diploma.
DNB PDCET is given once a year on a computer and lasts two hours. Each question is worth four marks, and each erroneous response is deducted one mark.

For admission to various DM/MCh programmes, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses), or NEET SS, is administered by NBE. All private medical institutes and universities deemed universities, and the Armed Forces Medical Services institutions accept NEET SS scores. However, the following institutions, AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST, do not accept the results of the NEET SS and have a separate entrance examination for admission to their super-speciality programmes.
NEET SS is a 3.5-hour computer-based exam that is administered yearly. There are 100 total questions with a four-mark maximum. For each incorrect response, one mark is deducted from the final grade. Only English is used as the question paper's medium or language.
