MET exam 2025 registration for Phase 1 has commenced on Oct 14, 2025 till Mar 15, 2025. Candidates can visit the official website of Manipal University and provide their names, phone numbers, email addresses and passwords to fill out the MET 2025 application form.
However, only the candidates who fulfil the MET 2025 eligibility criteria can apply for the examination. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM as a core subject are eligible to apply for the exam.

MET 2025 Application Form
MET phase 1 application form 2025 was released by the conducting body on Oct 14, 2024. The last date to apply for Phase 1 will be Mar 15, 2025. Subsequently, the Phase 2 application forms will tentatively be out in Apr 2025.

About MU OET (MET)
Organized by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, MET, formerly known as MU OET, is a university-level entrance exam that offers seats into 218 programs in 19 disciplines through MU OET or MET 2025. MAHE is one of the largest technical institutions not just in India but in Asia too. The institution has now changed its name to the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
Earlier, MU OET offered admission to numerous courses including engineering, pharmacy, medical, management, design and social sciences. However, MET is primarily concerned with admission to undergraduate engineering, life sciences and pharmacy programmes offered by the university. The Manipal Academy of Higher Education has introduced other entrance tests to offer admission to non-engineering and pharmaceutical courses.
MAHE: T.M.A Pai established MAHE in 1953 as Kasturba Medical College. After five years, it was renamed to Manipal Academy of Higher Education. In 1979 after the death of T.M.A. Pai, Ramdas Pai took over the management in 1979. There are 19 colleges and 7 departments under the institution.

MET 2025 Eligibility
It is important for candidates to carefully go through the eligibility criteria defined by the organizing authorities for MET 2025. Candidates who qualify for the defined eligibility criteria can move forward with the application process.
MET 2025 eligibility criteria may vary for different courses. The prescribed MET (MET) 2025 eligibility criteria cover aspects like nationality, qualification, age, marks scored in the qualifying exam, etc. Aspirants can get detailed information on general eligibility criteria from the points below:
- Education Qualification: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in relevant subjects in class 12th from a recognized board.
- Intermediate graduates or equivalent examinations from a recognized board can also register.
- Undergraduate Programs: Candidates should have taken relevant subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent.
- Postgraduate Programs: Candidates should have done their undergraduate in a relevant program.
- For Lateral Entry: Candidates are required to have passed 12th standard / A level / IB / American High School diploma or equivalent with English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other Life Sciences subjects as optional subject and a minimum of 55% marks taken together in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other Life Sciences subject.
- Age Criteria: There is an age criterion to attend the MET 2025 for certain courses.
MET 2025 Eligibility for Foreign Nationals
The following criteria need to be met by foreign nationals to be able to apply for the MET 2025 exam:
- Foreign nationals can apply for MET, but they should have certificates that MAHE demands.
- The admission process for foreign nationals will be based on merit in the qualifying exam.
MET 2025 Admit Card
Registered candidates will be issued MET 2025 admit cards only if they have booked their slots using the Online Test Booking System (OTBS). MET 2025 slot booking process for phases 1 and 2 will begin in Apr 2025.
Candidates can book their slots using through OTBS portal on the official website at manipal.edu. They can log in and book their slots using the application number and password.
Applicants must carry a printout of the MET 2025 admit card with them to the exam hall. Without it, candidates will not be allowed to write the exam.
