IPU CET eligibility criteria 2023 were released by the conducting authority on the official web portal. Indians, Non-Residents of India, and Citizens of Nepal are considered eligible for writing the exam. Candidates should have completed 10+2 with at least a minimum aggregate of 55%.

IPU CET 2023 exam eligibility for B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in various fields have been mentioned below. Candidates who are awaiting their final year results and who have passed their degree compartmentally are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing for supplementary exams are also eligible to apply.

B.Tech (Bio-Technology)

  • Eligibility Conditions: Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Biotechnology, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.                                                                                                  
  • Admissions Criteria: Applicants must appear in the CET conducted. The admissions would be based on merit/ rank in the CET.
B.Tech CET 131
  • Eligibility Conditions: Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
  • Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The university shall not conduct its CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the score of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the rank in the JEE exam.

Note: The aggregate score will be taken into account for all the papers that the candidate is offered. Blind (including colour blind), deaf, and/or dumb candidates are not eligible for admission to these courses.

Admission Criteria: There shall be no entrance test for these programs/ CET. The admission shall be made based on marks/ percentage of the qualifying degree.

M.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engg.) (Weekend)

  • B.E./ B.Tech/ AMIE or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ EEE/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Or,
  • M.Sc (Electronics/ Physics-with specialization in Electronics or Solid State) with 60% marks (Cumulative).

Note: Meaning of equivalent degree shall be considered according to AICTE Gazette notification no. ADVT.-III/4/Exty./40/2017(162) published on Apr 28, 2017, for Major Disciplines of Engineering/ Technology i.e. (ECE).

Admission Criteria: There shall be no entrance test for these programs/ CET. The admission shall be made based on marks/ percentage of the qualifying degree.

IPU CET 2023 Eligibility for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)

There shall be no CET conducted by the university for admissions to the B.Arch program.

Eligibility Conditions

  • Eligibility conditions shall be as per Council of Architecture notification(s) applicable at the time of admissions.
  • Candidates may see the website of the council. All candidates possessing any of the above qualifications must also have passed the National Aptitude Test of Architecture - NATA 2023 conducted by Council of Architecture.
  • For eligibility for NATA, candidates are advised to refer to the official website of the Council of Architecture.

Admission Criteria

IPU CET 2023 admissions will be made based on NATA score and the percentage of aggregate marks, i.e., (percentage will be calculated considering all the subjects) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. senior secondary level or equivalent.

The merit list shall be prepared based on the following factors.

  • Architectural Aptitude (NATA score)
  • Qualifying Examination (i.e., 10+2 or 10+3 years diploma recognized by the central/ state governments). 50% : 50%

Aggregate shall be calculated based on all papers offered to the student if a student is absent in paper(s), then for these papers marks obtained shall be taken as zero for the calculation of the aggregate marks/percentage.

Appearing in NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture is essential. All candidates are advised to take the NATA examination of the Council of Architecture at their entrance test. If a candidate has not qualified for the NATA 2023 test, then the candidate shall not be considered for admission. All candidates are required to keep three copies of the NATA score as one copy shall be required to be submitted at the time of document verification to the university, one copy shall be required to be submitted to the institution where the aspirant is admitted, and one copy as a record for the candidate.

  • If the candidates have secured equal ranks, the candidate getting the higher score in NATA will be selected.
  • In the case of candidates securing equal scores in NATA, then the candidate getting higher marks in Mathematics of the qualifying examination will advance to the next stage.
  • In the case of a tie, the candidate getting higher marks in the qualifying examination will be selected. In the case of a tie persisting, the candidate older in age shall rank higher. Applicants should retain a printout of IPU CET 2023 application form as proof of identity at the time of counselling/ admission.
  • All candidates are further advised to check the basic eligibility for NATA 2023 on the official website of the Council of Architecture. The candidates are advised to retain a copy of their NATA score/ result card for future reference.

Part one shall be MCQ-based (with 100 questions/ 400 marks). Part two shall be an essay writing test evaluation of the creative, critical, analytic, and writing skills (200 marks). Admission shall be based on the merit of the written test/ CET.

Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management 141  Eligibility Conditions: The candidates eligible to apply for the master's degree courses should be a graduate (3 years degree course) in any subject of Humanities, Commerce or Sciences those appearing in the 3rd-year final exam may also apply. Master of Science (Nursing) 198  Eligibility Conditions: The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of :
B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an institution that is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the bachelor's degree and/ or in the master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 % marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
The university shall follow NCTE guidelines/ regulations for the B.Ed. programs for admissions and implementation.

Pass in the 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. The university shall follow the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) guidelines for the B.Ed. Spl. Education programs for admissions and implementation.

IPU CET 2023 Weekends Programs Eligibility

Admission Criteria: Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation) and performance in a personal interview. Merit list shall be prepared based on the following:
70% weightage will be given to the percentage secured in the qualifying examination. b) 30% weightage will be given to the performance in a personal interview.
Thus the merit list shall be prepared based on marks earned by each candidate, out of 100 comprising of the percentage of marks obtained in eligibility qualification and marks obtained in Personal Interviews.
Master of Law – 2 years weekend program 181 Eligibility Conditions: LL.B degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a foreign university with one year of experience in profession or service.
Admission Criteria: Admission is to be made based on a merit list prepared as follows:

Non-CET mode based on performance in the qualifying examination – 50%

Interview – 30%

Year-wise Professional Experience – 20%.

The interview shall be conducted by the committee constituted by the Dean, University School of Law and Legal Studies with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, GGSIPU.
The final merit list is to be prepared by a committee constituted by the Dean, University School of Law and Legal Studies, and shall be declared by the Dean, University School of Law and Legal Studies on the university website.

A candidate also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core, elective or functional) in the qualifying examination. All candidates must appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate of 2023 (NEET UG 2023) and qualify to be considered for admission.

Bachelor of Science (Yoga) 117

Candidates must pass 10th and 12th with the pattern of CBSE or equivalent with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately.

A candidate also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core, elective or functional) in the qualifying examination.

All candidates must appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate of 2023 (NEET UG 2023) and qualify to be considered for admission. The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before Dec 31 of the year of his admission to the first year of the course.

IPU CET Medical eligibility for Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma (Streams available shall be notified before the start of counselling for admissions) 102

Every candidate selected for admission to PGMC shall possess an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before Apr 30 of the admission year.

The candidate should have obtained permanent registration with the MCI or any of the State Medical Councils.

Only candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi are eligible for admission to the state/ institutional quota seats for which forms are being invited.

All candidates must have appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate of 2023 (NEET PG 2023) and qualify to be considered for admissions.

Candidates obtaining admissions shall have to submit a surety bond of the value specified by the institution to which admission is taken to the concerned institution/ college.

D.M.(Cardiology) 132 Admission based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – 2023 (Super Speciality) (NEET SS).
If any other SSMC (DM / MCH) program is started by the university, the same shall be included at the time of admission.
For SSMC (DM /M.Ch.) programs the applicants should apply for NEET – SSMC and the admissions are also to be carried out by the Govt. Of India / MCI / DGHS-MHFW. The candidates need not apply to the university.
