UPTU 2024 application form filling is in process. The last date to apply was Jan 24, 2024. The application form filling was initiated on Dec 26, 2023. Applicants must note that admission for UPTU 2024 will be made based on the CUET PG 2024 marks achieved. The exam for the same has been scheduled for Mar 11-28, 2024.

Candidates should fill in the necessary details on the application form with vital information. The candidates must go through the important instructions before applying for the exam, and it is also essential to make sure that they clear the eligibility criteria.

The application form is a critical document that must be filled out thoroughly before aspirants apply for the exam. The Application form for UPTU 2024 should be error-free in every aspect. All mandatory details in the application form must be filled out before candidates click the final submission button.

UPTU 2024 Application Process

Every aspirant should follow the steps involved in filling out the application form because downloading the admit card depends entirely on the proper filling of the application form. Here are details related to the UPTU 2024 application process, which will help students understand the end-to-end methodology of filling out the application form for UPTU 2024.

Candidates should cautiously follow steps related to the application process so there are no mistakes related to form filling for the UPTU exam. The step-by-step procedure of the application process is listed below:

  • Step 1: Online registration (Filling out personal and Adhaar details).
  • Step 2: Fill out the application form for UPTU 2024.
  • Step 3: Uploading scanned images of the photograph and signature.
  • Step 4: Payment of examination fee and printing of “Confirmation Page."

How to Fill Application Form for UPTU 2024?

The UPTU 2024 application form involves online registration, filling out the application form, uploading scanned images, and paying the examination fee. The hierarchy of these stages should be followed under any circumstances while filling out the application form.

Step 1: Online Registration

The steps involved in online registration are specified below:

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of UPTU 2024. They should use Internet Explorer 7 or above, where they must choose the appropriate option "Under Graduate" or "Post Graduate" link for filling out the UPTU 2024 application process.
  • Candidates must click the "Apply" link at the bottom of the page to advance with UPTU 2024 online registration.
  • A new screen containing instructions and procedures for online submission of the UPTU 2024 application form will appear. Aspirants need to read the page carefully, and after that, follow the link "Click here to proceed" at the bottom of the page, which takes you to UPTU 2024 online application form filling.
  • In the application form, candidates need to enter their Personal Details, Date of Birth, Aadhar enrollment number, Gender, Parent Domicile, etc., and after filling up all the details, candidates need to click on the "Validate Aadhar" button.
  • As per the decision taken by the Central Admission Board (CAB), candidates who do not have an Aadhaar number can also fill out the UPTU 2024 Application Form by mentioning alternative identification numbers such as a Ration Card, Passport, Bank Account Number, or other valid government ID (such as driving license, voter ID, etc).
  • Consent of Aadhaar Number Authentication by clicking on the "I Agree" checkbox, and candidates need to click the "Validate Aadhar" button.
  • After filling in these details, candidates are required to enter communication details such as address, mobile phone number, email, etc. Then, candidates must create a "Password," which should be between 8 to 13 characters in length and have at least one upper case letter, lower case letter, number, and special character, and then select a security question and enter an answer.

Note: Aspirants must remember "Password" until the examination is over because this password, along with the UPTU 2024 application number generated by the system, will be required in the future to log into the system again. Candidates are advised not to share this password with anyone.

  • Candidates must enter the security pin and click the "Submit" button to submit the UPTU 2024 online registration form.
  • Candidates must carefully cross-check all details entered in the online registration form and click the final submit button. If any changes need to be made to the UPTU 2024 registration form, aspirants should click the "Edit Registration Form" button and modify the details.
  • If the details are correct, click the "Yes" button or click on the "No" button.
  • Application number will be generated, and the registration form submission will be completed. After that, click on the "Complete Application Form" button to proceed with the UPTU 2024 application form.

Step 2: Filling up of Application Form

Specifications of application form for UPTU 2024 is given below:

  • Aspirants must fill up all the details in UPTU 2024 application form such as Parent Domicile, Category, Rural Weightage, Nationality, State from where you have passed or appearing in the qualifying examination, etc.
  • Candidates need to enter courses where they want to get admission, need to select qualifying exam and should select three choices of the city for exam centre during filling of UPTU 2024 online application form.
  • After filling exam details related to selection of exam and exam centres candidates need to enter qualifying exam details criteria such as Pass status, Stream name, Board, Year of passing, etc. After this step is completed, candidates must select subjects they have studied in class 12th and make sure about the subject combination required to be eligible for UPTU 2024 examination.
  • Candidates need to select year & courses for admission through UPTU 2024 examination and after that aspirants should enter security pin as shown in below window.
  • Once “Submit” button is clicked, a review page showing all the crucial information filled by you appears on the screen, and after the page is displayed, check all information on the review page. If you want to change/modify some of the information provided in the application Form click "Edit Application Form Data” button to modify entries in UPTU 2024 application form.
  • Once you are satisfied with all entries and want to submit UPTU 2024 application form click “Final Submit” Button. Please note that once you submit UPTU 2024 application form by clicking “Final Submit” button online application form is finally submitted and you will not be able to modify/change/edit entries of your UPTU 2024 application form. Therefore you are advised to click the “FINAL SUBMIT” button only when you are completely satisfied with entries on the application form.

Note: Before “Final Submit” button you will notice a declaration at the bottom. Please read and accept the declaration by ticking the “I agree” check box. Unless you accept the declaration by ticking the checkbox, you cannot submit the UPTU 2024 application form.

  • After the final submission of UPTU 2024 application form, the system generates an application number. Candidates are required to note this Application Number for all future correspondences and to be able to log in again and after having the application number candidates should click on "Upload Image" button for uploading photograph and signature.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images

In this step, candidates should be very cautious about the dimension of images that need to be uploaded. The detailed specification of images that need to be uploaded are as follows:

  • Candidates should click on "Choose File" button to upload a clear scanned image of a recent passport size colour photograph (3.5cm X 4.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 100 KB in the UPTU 2024 Application Form. Photograph of the candidate must be front-facing to the camera in a manner that the full face shows. The background should be either white or off-white and uncluttered.
  • Candidates need to click on the "Choose File" button to upload a clear scanned image of their signature (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 30 KB in UPTU 2024 application form and after this, you have to enter security pin and after that click on "Upload" button.
  • Candidates should check/review that images uploaded in UPTU 2024 application form are clear and correct before pressing the “Upload” button. Once the “Upload” Button is pressed, you cannot change scanned images. Therefore before pressing the “Upload” button make it doubly sure that uploaded images are correct and clear. If images that have been uploaded are not proper or appear blurred then you must upload a proper and clear image(s) again.

Note: UPTU 2024 application form with a blurred photograph, thumb impression, or signature is liable to be rejected.

Step 4: Exam Fee Payment

The procedure of UPTU 2024 exam fee payment is mentioned below:

  • UPTU 2024 examination fee can be paid online only through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. For making payment candidates must select online payment and click the link “Proceed for Payment” to make the payment of the UPTU 2024 examination fee and before paying to verify all details displayed and click on "Go For Payment" button.
  • All VISA/Master cards are accepted and candidates should be ready with their Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking details.

Note: In addition to UPTU 2024 examination fee, the bank may charge an extra service charge and/or taxes as applicable. Aspirants must select payment provider and click the "Proceed to Payment" button.

  • Select card type, enter Card Number, Card Holder Name, Expiry Date, CVV Number, and then click on the "Pay Now" button to pay UPTU 2024 examination fee.
  • After making payment a transaction number is generated. Candidates are required to note this transaction number for future correspondences. If payment is successful a link appears on the screen/page named “Download Confirmation Page”. Candidates must download this “Confirmation Page” by clicking this link and saving the “Confirmation Page” for the record. Candidates are also advised to take two copies or print-outs of this “Confirmation page” and preserve them for record and future communication.

Note: Candidates do not need to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of UPTU 2024 online application form to University. However, the candidate should keep a printout of the confirmation page for a record. Candidates are also advised to note down the UPTU 2024 application form number for future correspondences.
