AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024: Dates, Process, Admission

The AYUSH NEET UG counselling 2024 registration for the third round commenced on Oct 9, 2024 till Oct 14, 2024. The choice filling for NEET UG Counselling round 3 begun from Oct 10, 2024 till Oct 14, 2024 as per the schedule. The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee decreased the AYUSH NEET 2024 qualifying cutoff 2024 by 15% for all categories under the Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy streams for UG and PG admission for the 2024–25 academic year.

NEET 2024 AYUSH counselling is held for admission to undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. Admission to AYUSH courses will be based on NEET 2024 results, candidate preferences, seat availability, reservation criteria, and other factors. The AYUSH NEET UG counselling 2024 will take place for 15% All India Quota seats in government colleges, central universities, national institutes, and private colleges, and 100% of the seats in the deemed universities.. 

AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024

The candidates must have qualified for the NEET examination to take part in the AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024. Approximately 85% of state quota seats will be filled under AYUSH NEET state counselling. The seats of private institutions will also be filled under AYUSH NEET state counselling.

The AACCC conducts the AYUSH NEET counselling 2024 for the following types of seats. 

• 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of Govt./Govt. Aided institute of all States/ Union Territories.
• 100% seats of National/ Central Institutes.
• 100% UG (BAMS) seats of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
• 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
• 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.
• 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.

Eligibility Criteria for AYUSH NEET Counselling 2024

The candidates must fulfill specific criteria to be eligible to take part in AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024. The eligibility criteria are as follows. 

1. Candidates must have secured the minimum cutoff marks and above and qualified NEET 2024 examination.
2. They must be 17 years old as on Dec 2024.
3. Candidates must have qualified for the class 12 board examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.

AYUSH NEET Counselling and Registration Process 2024

The AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024 process is conducted across two main rounds, followed by a mop up and stray vacancy round. The steps to be followed in the processes of registration and counselling are explained below.

1. Candidates must visit the official website of AYUSH NEET counselling at aaccc.gov.in
2. Next, they must click on the relevant link available for NEET UG counselling.
3. Further, applicants must begin with the registration using the required details and generate their login credentials.
4. Now, they can login using the credentials and fill out the application form for AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024 with their personal and educational details.
5. Then, they must upload the required documents. 
6. Student need to pay the information counselling application fee with any one of the given payment methods.
7. After which they must submit and download the application for further procedures. 
8. When the choice filling window opens, candidates can choose their choice of college and courses and lock it before the last date. 
9. When allotted a seat, candidates must download the seat allotment letter.
10. In the end they must report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and other documents for verification.
11. Candidates must confirm their admission to the allotted college by paying the required fee.

Others who were not allotted a seat and the ones who are not satisfied with the allotted college and want to secure admission to other colleges may apply for the subsequent AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024 rounds.

The candidates must possess certain documents during the AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2024 verification and admission procedures. The following are the documents required for AYUSH NEET counselling 2024.

• NEET admit card 2024
• NEET result 2024
• Birth certificate/High school certificate (as proof of date of birth)
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/PAN/Driving Licence/Passport)
• Provisional Allotment Letter (downloaded from the official website of NTA NEET)
• SC/ST Certificate (if applicable)
• OBC Certificate (if applicable)
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate stating that the candidate has studied Tamil up to Class X (For BSMS candidates)
• Certificate stating that the candidate has studied Urdu/Arabic/Persian up to Class X (For BUMS candidates)
