Delhi NEET Merit List 2023: Dates, DU MBBS/BDS Rank List

Delhi NEET Merit List 2023 is going to be released by University of Delhi based on NEET 2023 scores for admission into 85% of government colleges and other private medical colleges. The Delhi NEET Authorities will release the merit list in an online PDF mode which will be accessible to all students.

The merit list for NEET 2023 will then be sent to DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for providing the same to MCC for conducting 15% AIQ NEET Counselling. Based on the ranks and scores attained in the NEET exam, MCC will appoint seats to the NEET Counselling.

Delhi NEET Merit List 2023

Delhi NEET merit list 2023 will be released by the State medical councils will prepare their merit lists for counselling based on various factors such as the applicant’s eligibility based on their residential requirement. This list depicts the state rank of candidates on a comparative scale with applicants from the same state. 

Steps to Download Delhi NEET Merit List 2023

Once authorities declare the Delhi NEET Merit List 2023, students can follow the below instructions to download the DU NEET UG 2023 merit list.

• Firstly, go to the official website.
• Next, click on the link for Delhi NEET Merit List 2023.
• Now, the screen will display the PDF of Delhi NEET 2023 Merit List on the screen.
• Lastly, click on the download icon and save.

Delhi NEET 2023 Merit List for 85% State Quota Seats

There is a separate process for the other 85% of state quota seats, and also separate counselling will be conducted. The eligibility criteria for domicile and schooling could vary from college to college, but aspirants must complete Class 12.

Along with that, passing NEET with the required minimum cutoff percentile is considered for admission under 85% of state quota seats.

• Candidates, interested in participating in Delhi NEET state-level counselling are required to fill out the application form on or before the provided late date.
• Candidates who qualify for the merit list are required to report for document verification.
• States all across India release a separate NEET state rank list for each round of counselling.
• Deemed Universities will conduct their counselling procedure.
• Candidates interested to take admission to AFMC have a different website to apply separately since they will hold a second screening process.

Delhi NEET Rank List 2023: Eligibility

There is no upper limit in age but the lower limit is restricted to being 17 years by December 31st, 2022. however, there are some educational requirements that are as follows:

• Candidates are required to have physics, chemistry, and biology/biotechnology as their subjects in class XII
• General Category- 50% marks in the qualifying exam and NEET
• OBC/SC/ST Category- 40% marks in qualifying exam and NEET
• General- Physically handicapped category- 45% marks in qualifying exam and NEET
• Candidates appearing for the class XII exam are also allowed to give NEET and will be admitted on a provisional basis
• Candidates of distance learning or private students and those who have biology as an additional subject are also eligible for the exam
• As there is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET 2023. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want.

Delhi NEET Cutoff 2023: Tie-Breaking Process

Sometimes two or more candidates achieve the same result which ends up in a tie. So, for this NEET has a tie-breaking process that comprises certain rules that students must be aware of if they land in such scenarios.

• Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants who secure higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for the NEET merit list.
• Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie remains then the most preferred and accepted subject is chemistry and the scores/percentile of this subject will e considered to break the tie.
• Several incorrect answers: If the tie still isn’t over, the one of which with less number of fewer answers will be selected for the merit list.

Delhi NEET Merit List 2023: Post Process

After the announcement of the Delhi NEET Merit List 2023, students will be invited for the counselling process. There will be a total of three to four rounds. However, the counselling rounds will be administered, depending on the availability of seats.
