Delhi NEET Counselling 2024: Process, Eligibility Criteria, Cutoff

The Delhi NEET counselling 2024 final Round 1 seat allocation was out on the official website on Aug 25, 2024. The seats have been allocated to 26,109 candidates and on Aug 23 and 24, 2024, the provisional seat allocation outcome was released twice. The second round of NEET counseling 2024 will begin on Sep 5, 2024.
The Delhi NEET counselling 2024 will be organised by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to provide MBBS admissions. The union territory of Delhi has a total of 1497 MBBS and 162 BDS seats to offer and the admissions to these seats will be through the Delhi NEET 2024 counselling.

The candidates who have secured the minimum cutoff or above and qualified for the NEET 2024 examination have to fill in the online application form to participate in the Delhi NEET 2024 counselling process. The merit list and the counselling schedule will be released on the official website.

Different rounds of online counselling will be conducted depending on the number of seats available in the participating colleges and universities.

Delhi NEET 2024 Counselling Process

Find below the Delhi NEET counselling process to be followed by all applicants:

1. Once registered for the counselling and signed in to the activated accounts, candidates have to fill in the rest of the application form with the required personal and educational information and submit the same with legally right and accurate testimonials and documents. 
2. The candidates must then choose the courses and colleges of their preference.  
3. After the payment of the counselling fee, the candidates will have to download and print the submitted application form for the counselling round. 
4. The candidates on the Delhi NEET merit list who attend the counselling will be allotted seats on the basis of their preferences, the candidate’s merit and the availability of seats. 
5. The allotment letters will be sent to the candidates with which the candidates should report to the assigned colleges, go through with the admission process, verification of documents and payment of college fees.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the Delhi NEET Counselling 2024: 

• Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website of MCC.
• Step 2: Next, click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your Roll Number and Password.
• Step 3: Now enter all the details asked on the new page.
• Step 4: Then, pay the application fee and click on ‘Submit’.
• Step 5: Your screen will display all the details. Verify them and click on ‘Confirm Registration.

Delhi NEET 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria 

The following are the eligibility criteria that the candidates must mandatorily meet to be eligible for the Delhi NEET 2024 counselling. 

1. The candidates must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2024, that is, they should be born on or before 31.12.2004. Any candidate born after this date will not be eligible for admission. 
2. The candidates must have achieved the minimum cutoff or above set for the category they belong to. 
3. For the candidates to be eligible for admission through the 85% Delhi quota, the candidate must have passed the class 11 and 12 examinations from any recognized board within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only.
