Gujarat NEET Merit List 2024: The Gujarat NEET merit list 2024 will be released by the Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC). The NEET result 2024 was out on 4th June 2023, and the retest result is going to be out on 30th June 2024.

Candidates who qualify for the NEET cutoff 2024, with 50 percentile for the general category and 40 percentile for the reserved category, will make it to the Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2024 rank list and can apply for state counselling. The Gujarat NEET 2024 merit list will be released during the first week of August. It will constitute the candidate's name, institute name, category details, and course details.

Original

The main merit list can be downloaded once it is released. Listed below are the steps to check it online -

• Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the merit list link.
• Step 2: After clicking on the link, the Gujarat NEET merit list 2023 will be displayed on the screen in PDF form.
• Step 3: Candidates need to search their names and NEET roll number in Gujarat MBBS 2023 merit list.
• Step 4: Aspirants are advised to verify their details carefully.
• Step 5: In case of any discrepancy, they must contact the authority immediately.
• Step 6: Lastly, candidates need to download the Gujarat NEET Merit List 2023 and take a printout for future reference.

Gujarat NEET Tie-Breaking Process 2024

Sometimes, two or more candidates achieve the same results and make up a tie. To resolve this confusion NEET has a tie-breaking process. This process comprises some rules that students must be aware of if they land in such scenarios. Here’s what all they need to keep in mind:

• Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants who secure higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for the NEET merit list.
• Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie remains then the most preferred and accepted subject is chemistry, the scores/percentile of this subject will be considered to break the tie.
• Several incorrect answers: If the tie remains, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers will get selected for the merit list.
• If the tie persists, the candidates holding higher marks in English in the qualifying exam will be given a better rank for Gujarat MBBS admission 2024.
• After that, candidates with higher aggregate marks in class 10 will be allotted a higher rank in the state merit list.
• In the end, the older candidate will retain a higher merit position.

Gujarat MBBS 2024 Counselling

The authority will conduct the Gujarat MBBS/BDS counselling 2024 in online mode lasting for two rounds. Before the seat allotment, aspirants have to provide their preference for the college as well as their preferred course.

The seat allotment process for Gujarat MBBS 2024 will be done on the grounds of Gujarat MBBS rank, preference of the colleges and courses, and the availability of seats.
