Unit 1: Awareness of places, materials, persons, and buildings; Objects and Texture related to Architecture, and building environment; Visualising 3D objects from 2D drawings. Visualising the 3D objects from different sides; Mental Ability (Numerical, Visual, and Verbal); Analytical Reasoning.
Unit 2: 3D Perception of Objects; Understanding the scale and the proportion of building forms, objects, and elements along with their texture, colour, contrast, and harmony; Designing and drawing abstract and geometrical patterns and shapes with pencil; Transformation of 3D and 3D forms; Rotation, subtraction, and development of volumes and surfaces; Generation of Plans, 3D viewing of objects; Creating 2D and 3D compositions with the use of given forms and shapes.
JEE Main 2024 Syllabus for Drawing Test
Sketching of various activities and scenes from memory focusing on urbanscape which includes market, public space, festivals, monuments, recreational spaces, and street scenes. Sketching various landscapes and rural life.
The drawing test will be conducted on sheets in a pen and paper mode. Students must bring their own pencils and geometry box, colours, crasets and other necessary items.
