KCET Veterinary - Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) in KCET, is as follows.
- Candidates who qualified 2nd PUC or class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply. However, candidates from S.C., ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates should have min. 40%.
- The minimum cutoff for Veterinary in the year's KCET must be secured.
KCET Veterinary Admission Process
The admission process for KCET veterinary courses is conducted after the KCET results and KCET cutoff marks are announced.
- Admission to Veterinary colleges depends on the candidate's performance in the class 12 qualification and their KCET rank.
- The students applying for Veterinary courses must score the minimum cutoff mark set by the official authority to be considered for admission to the Veterinary colleges.
- The candidates who score the minimum cutoff will be called for the counselling rounds.
- The counselling rounds decide the opening and closing ranks for colleges.
- In the counselling rounds, candidates are allotted seats based on their preferences and ranks.
