Maharashtra NEET merit list 2024 will be released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, in the first week of August 2024. It provides the details of the candidates who are eligible for the counselling rounds in the medical colleges of Maharashtra.

Maharashtra NEET Merit List 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria

DMER follows the tie-breaking rule when two or more aspirants have the same score. The tie-breaking rule for the Maharashtra NEET merit list 2024 is mentioned below:

• Higher marks in Biology - The Maharashtra NEET merit list will prioritise candidates with higher scores in the biology section.
• Higher marks in Chemistry - The marks from the chemistry part will be considered while determining the Maharashtra MBBS 2024 merit list if there is still a tie.
• Lesser negative marking - Additionally, candidates with fewer incorrect responses will be prioritised in the Maharashtra NEET 2024 merit list.
• Age - The age of the candidates will also be considered. Senior candidates will receive a higher rank in the merit list.
