NEET Score Card 2024 released as a revised scorecard link. To check NEET 2024 score card, candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth. The National Testing Agency has posted the revised link of NEET UG score card 2024 at exams.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET UG re-revised scorecard 2024 on Jul 26, 2024. Students who took the exam can now verify their ranks, and percentiles using the final NEET result 2024. NTA has also posted the revised final NEET 2024 answer keys on the official test website.

Based on the Supreme Court's decision to revoke the extra marks for the contentious Physics question, the scores have been revised. Candidates who chose Option 4 only received 4 marks for that question; those who chose any other option received a negative marking of -1.

Conversely, individuals who chose not to attempt the question did not receive any bonus marks or deductions. Remarkably, 44 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720 after obtaining the extra marks. The final merit list states that there are now only 17 NEET 2024 toppers overall.

According to the updated NEET 2024 merit list, out of 23,33,162 exam takers, 13,15,853 individuals were eligible for the exam. In contrast to the cutoff that was made public on Jun 4, 2024, as well as the firs results, each category's NEET 2024 cutoff score has been lowered by two marks.

• Enter your roll number, date of birth, and the security pin, then click "Submit". 
• The result would be available now, and you can download and make copies of the NEET Score Card 2024 for future reference.

Validity of NEET 2024 Score Card

The NEET Score Card 2024 is valid for three years after the declaration year. For example, suppose the candidates have appeared in 2024; the scores are valid for three consecutive years. Candidates can download and save the NEET Score Card 2024 from the official website.

Furthermore, the NEET result 2024 must be preserved for up to 90 days from the declaration of results since it will be asked during counselling and medical admission. After NEET 2024 Score Card and results are released, medical admission will be granted through counselling.

NEET 2024 Score Calculation Process

The NTA uploads the answer key for the candidates to compare their answers to get a rough value of how much they have scored. The answer key also helps the candidate challenge the answer provided by NTA by paying Rs.1000 per response. If the candidate is right, they get a refund. The answer key would determine their expected rank and score. 

For every right answer, 4 marks are awarded, and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. So, the scores can be calculated by multiplying the number of right answers by 4 and subtracting it from the number of wrong answers. 

Tie Breaking Process of NEET 2024 Score

In the event of a tie, where two candidates secure the same marks in the NEET 2024 UG examination, there is a need for a tie-breaker. The specifications of the tiebreaker are mentioned below:

• If the total marks are the same, the candidate with higher marks in Biology will secure the higher rank. 
• If the marks are similar in Biology, candidates are ranked based on their Chemistry marks in the NEET 2024 examination. 
• If both Biology and Chemistry marks are exactly the same, the candidate with the least number of wrong answers will excel to the higher rank. 
• Lastly, if all the above three marks are not applicable as a tiebreaker, the older candidate will secure the higher merit ranking.

NEET Cut Off 2024

The NEET cutoff is the minimum score required to qualify for the medical exam. It plays an essential factor for the NEET rank letter, deciding which college the candidate can opt for, and determining the fee structure.

The cutoff percentile helps the candidate with the performance comparison among other candidates. The cutoff is decided by determining the highest marks obtained for admission to the best medical/ dental colleges. The NEET cutoff will be releasing two quotas- All India Quota (15 %) and State Quota which will determine the rank percentile of the candidates. The cutoff for general category students is 50th percentile while it is 40th percentile for reserved category students.
