CSIR NET notification 2024 was released by NTA in online mode on May 1, 2024. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research is conducted twice a year. CSIR NET 2024 will be conducted in June and December. Thus, the notification for the CSIR NET June 2024 exam has been released.

CSIR NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian citizens are eligible for CSIR NET 2024
• The upper age limit for applying for JRF is 28 years.
• Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories
• Candidates need to have at least 55% marks (for General and OBC), 50% marks (SC/ST) in the BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree.

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CSIR NET Notification 2024 for the June session examination on May 1, 2024. Interested candidates can fill out the CSIR NET Application Form 2024. The opening date is May 1, 2024, and the last date was May 27, 2024.

CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2024

CSIR NET notification 2024 contains information about the CSIR exam pattern 2024. Candidates need to know the exam pattern with clarity to understand the nature of the exam. • CSIR NET Paper contains five subjects, Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences
• Each subject further contains a total of three parts
• CSIR exam is conducted for 200 marks
• The total number of questions will be 610 out of which 310 need to be attempted by candidates in all five subjects
• There will be a negative marking in all three parts of the exam
• The negative marking would majorly be for 25%, however, it is also 33% for some subjects
