HITSEEE 2023 eligibility criteria are requirements to be fulfilled by candidates to appear for HITSEEE 2023 and apply for a course at Hindustan University. These criteria are defined by the examination conducting authority of Hindustan University. The candidate must ensure that they satisfy all the requirements specified by the authority before filling HITSEEE 2023 application form for the exam, or else their candidature will be cancelled.
Eligibility Criteria for HITSEEE 2023
HITSEEE eligibility criteria are given below. Candidates can refer to the following pointers for the eligibility criteria.
Age Limit and Nationality:
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals, residing in India can apply for HITSEEE 2023.
- Minimum Age: Candidates applying for HITSEEE 2023 must be 17 years old at the time of filling the application form.
- Maximum Age: Candidates should be less than 19 years or 19 years in the last week of April 2023.
Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Courses
- PCM is Compulsory: The applicant must have cleared HSC exam or any equivalent exam before applying in HITSEEE 2023 from a recognized board of secondary education, having a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Minimum marks: Candidates seeking admission for B.Tech courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Education (12th), prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks for eligibility in HITSEEE 2023 Exam.
- Candidates waiting for 12th results: Candidates waiting for their class 12th results are also eligible to write HITSEEE 2023.
- Candidates waiting for H.S.C results: Applicants who have appeared for the H.S.C exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2023 exam.
- Note: The improvement marks will not be taken into consideration for admission to B.Tech courses.
Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Biotechnology Courses

Minimum marks in PCMB: The applicant must have cleared the H.S.C exam before applying in HITSEEE 2023 from a recognized board of secondary education, having a minimum average of 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
Eligibility Criteria For B.Arch Courses
- Must Clear 3-year Diploma: The applicant must have cleared a three-year diploma exam before applying in HITSEEE 2023 recognized by the Central or State Government having Mathematics as a subject and with minimum aggregate marks of 50 per cent.
- Mathematics or Business Mathematics is Compulsory: The applicant must have cleared H.S.C exam from a recognized board of secondary education has a minimum average of 50 per cent marks or must have cleared an equivalent exam with Mathematics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Applicants Waiting for Results: Applicants who have appeared for the H.S.C exam and are waiting for results are also eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2023 exam.
- Minimum Marks in NATA: All applicants aspiring to seek admission in B.Arch course must write the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), India. This test is conducted by Council of Architecture and the applicant must score a minimum of 80 marks out of 200 marks.
