JEE Main
The National Testing Agency (NTA) holds this national entrance exam twice a year to admit candidates to engineering programmes at the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other centrally supported technical schools like IIST, ISM Dhanbad, etc. A JEE Advanced eligibility test is also administered here. Candidates who obtained the necessary marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in their class 12 exam or who are currently taking it are eligible to apply for JEE Main.
JEE Advanced
Any IITs will hold JEE (Advanced) for applicants who have passed JEE Main. IITs and ISM Dhanbad provide undergraduate engineering programmes to candidates who pass the JEE Advanced test. In the JEE advanced test, candidates must attempt two papers, each lasting three hours. Both Hindi and English will be used on the test papers. Each question paper has three distinct sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
BITSAT
One of the most prestigious engineering entrance tests, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT), is held to identify qualified applicants for admission to the engineering degree programs at the BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. A computer-based online entrance test is called BITSAT. Candidates with the required marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry who have passed or are sitting in the class 12 test are eligible to apply. The entrance exams take place in May or June.
VITEEE
The Vellore Institute of Technology administers the VITEEE, also known as the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam, to candidates seeking admission to its several B.Tech degree programs. Applications are accepted starting in December. The examination is held in Mar 2023 for candidates who have passed or are currently enrolled in class 12 exams and have earned the minimum necessary marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
COMEDK
One of the admission exams held in India is the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The purpose of the entrance exam is to evaluate applicants for undergraduate admission to the Member Institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). Through COMEDK, more than 150 engineering universities offer more than 20,000 seats. Karnataka CET
Karnataka administers the Karnataka CET (KCET), a state-level entrance exam, to grant admission to various courses in the state's professional educational institutions. Kerala KEAM
