TANCET 2025 Counselling Dates

Anna University, the conducting body of the state-based entrance examination, will conduct the TANCET counselling 2025 for MBA, MCA, and ME. Candidates who successfully submit the online counselling registration form within the stipulated time frame will be able to attend the sessions.

TANCET Counselling 2025 Procedure

Counselling registration, certificate verification, rank list creation, option entry, and seat allocation are all steps in the TN MBA admission process. DTE provides centralized counselling for TN MBA/MCA admissions, but TANCA/CEETA PG counselling conducts separate counselling for other CEETA PG courses.

The stepwise procedure involved in TANCET counselling 2025 process is elaborated below. Candidates should go through the same.

Step 1: Online Registration

• Candidates need to complete the registration process to appear for the TANCET 2025 counselling procedure. A direct link for registration will be available on the official website.
• Registration is an important step. And if a candidate fails to register, then they cannot appear in any of TANCET Counselling Rounds.
• In this stage, aspirants will also have to make a registration fee payment to complete the registration process.

Step 2: Choice Filling

• After successful registration, candidates will have to select their preferred courses and colleges based on their priority.
• Candidates are required to select their most preferred choices on the top.
• This choice filling facility will be available only once. Utmost care must be taken while making these choices, as the seat allotment, as per TANCET Counselling 2025, will be based on these choices.

Step 3: Document Verification

• The document verification round will be the third stage of the TANCET 2025 Selection Procedure.
• For document verification, candidates are expected to report to the nodal centre as per the TANCET 2025 Counselling Schedule.
• Candidates need to bring all the required documents for verification.

Step 4: Final Seat Allotment

• The next round of the TANCET Counselling Procedure is the final seat allotment round.

• The seat allotment is done based on those choices made by the applicants on the basis of their rank in the generated merit list and the availability of seats for that rank.
• If the student is not satisfied with the allotted seat, then they can wait for the next round of TANCET 2025 Counselling.
• After the seat allotment process, candidates need to download their seat allotment letter from the official website.

Step 5: Reporting to the Allocated College

• After seats are allocated, the last and final step is to report to the allocated college for admission.
• Candidates must report to that particular college within the specified time, otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled out and some other prospective candidate may fill that seat.
• After reporting to that college, candidates should pay the required fees, complete all formalities, and join the program.

TANCET Offline Form Procedure

After the TANCET results 2025 are declared, Anna University will release counselling application forms counselling procedure. Candidates can find this form at the various application form issue centres. These forms can be used for applying for TANCET counselling 2025.

• To get the application form for counselling, the candidates will be asked for some information such as Name, Registration Number, etc.
• Candidates are advised to fill up the form accurately.
• After filling TANCET Counselling Form, enclose the relevant documents and send it to “The Secretary, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025”.

TANCET Online Form Procedure

Online TANCET Counselling Forms will be made available to interested candidates on the official website of Anna University.

• The candidate will be asked to fill in the details such as name, registration number, and counselling centre.
• Candidates are required to fill out the form carefully and accurately.
• Include all the essential documents with Demand Draft (D.D.) and printouts of the filled online counselling forms and send the package to ”The Secretary, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025”.

Points to Remember

• Anna University will release the counselling call letter to the candidates who have applied for TANCET 2025 counselling, with all the information like the Time and date of counselling. In addition to this, they have to provide details like the candidate's name, registration number, counselling centre, and city.
• Candidates are requested to report to the counselling centre 2 hours before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute hassle and panic.
• Only a Single Window counselling will be held for the eligible students. It will be held at various counselling centres in Tamil Nadu, for those candidates who are looking for admission into various institutes in Tamil Nadu.
• Separate counselling will be held for M.Tech /M.E /M. Arch /M.plan courses. TANCET will announce the dates for this counselling as well.

TANCET Seat Allotment

Candidates will be allowed to choose the institution and the branch from the list of colleges and institutions under the TANCET Counselling Process. Depending upon the merit list and seat availability, the candidates will be allotted seats in the institutions.

Candidates possessing higher ranks will be prioritized first. The seat allotment will be based on the ranks of the candidates. Unsatisfied candidates will be allowed to attend TANCET Counselling Process again, for other institutions. The final seat allocation in the last round will be final and further changes cannot be made.
