Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024 is organised and conducted by the HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University. HNBUMU will publish the schedule of Uttarakhand NEET 2024 counselling for MBBS/BDS courses through their official website.  Uttarakhand's medical and dental institutions offer approximately 1125 MBBS and 200 BDS seats through Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024.

Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2024 Process

A candidate can visit the office of HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University to apply for NEET 2024 Uttarakhand State Counselling. Following is the procedure for Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024:

• All NEET UG 2024 qualified candidates who wish to participate in the counselling for the UG State/All India management quota must register for the various rounds of counselling.
• Based on the registration, a separate State merit list is prepared and displayed for each counselling round.
• Candidates who are not eligible in the 1st round of counselling can participate in the 2nd and the post-commencement rounds after registering and paying the required fee.
• Only registered candidates are eligible for the respective counselling rounds.
• The candidate has to provide NEET-UG 2024 exam details, a valid mobile number, and other required information to register for Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2024.
• Candidates will receive a verification code/OTP on their registered cell phone which they will register in the subsequent steps of filling out the application form online.
• After the final submission, if a candidate wishes to change any information or upload new documents within the registration period, they have to pay an additional processing fee of Rs.500/- for each session (online mode only).
• Under no circumstances any extension of time be granted for processing the information.
• After processing the form, the candidate must click on SAVE and check the details again.
• If the candidate is satisfied, they may complete the application form at LOCK and take a printout of the application form.
• If a candidate does not fill in an option or SAVE, they will not be considered for the allocation of seats in that round.
• If a candidate SAVED completed the form but was unable to complete the completed options, the form will automatically close at the time specified in the advisory schedule.
• If a candidate could not load any option, they are not be eligible for the allocation of seats in this round.

How to Apply for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2024?

The counselling process will be managed by HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University. Below are the steps which tell about how to apply for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2024

• Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website
• Step 2: Click on the "New Registration" option
• Step 3: (Personal Information): After successful registration and activation of an account, candidates need to enter their personal information. While filling out the application form, make sure that all the details are correct
• Step 4: (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal details, the candidate should upload a high contrast passport size photo (the photo must be taken with a tag stating the candidate's name and date taken) and a full signature in Hindi and English (not in capital letters) after scanning the photo properly. After uploading the photo and signature, click on the "Save & Continue" button
• Step 5: (Education Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature, you should enter your education information on the screen and click the "Save & Continue" button
• Step 6: (Consulting Fee Payment): After providing all the required information, candidates need to pay the counselling fee. The consultation fee is non-refundable
  • There are the following two options for paying the consulting fee:
  • Payment by Direct Debit: If the candidate wants to pay the consultancy fee by direct debit, he/she should select the offline / NEFT Challan option from the payment mode displayed on the computer screen, download and print the direct debit and visit any bank by the scheduled date to pay the consultancy fee by NEFT
  • Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay the consultancy fee online, e.g. by credit card /debit card / net banking, he/she should select an online option from the payment mode displayed on the screen and "Make Payment"

(The payment should be made by credit card /debit card / net banking. The candidate has to pay the processing fee in addition to the consultation fee for online payment.)

Documents Required for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2024

Applicants must provide the following information when completing the online application form for the counselling process:

• State in which high school (10th) was completed
• State in which middle school (10+2) was completed.
• Domicile certificate details (only for candidates domiciled in Uttarakhand)
• Details of reserve category certificate, if applicable
• Details of sub-category certificate, if applicable. (Only for candidates domiciled/permanently residing in Uttarakhand)
• The following types of certificates are required to be submitted through the official email ukneetcounselling@gmail.com after filling out the online application form:
  • Disability category certificate issued by Special Medical Board constituted by Director-General Medical Health & Family Welfare, Uttarakhand, if applicable
  • Details of required certificates for the Kashmiri Migrants Department, if applicable.

Uttarakhand NEET 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Counselling and admission are open to registered applicants who meet the following criteria for M.B.B.S./B.D.S. courses in government and private medical/dental colleges/private medical colleges affiliated with Uttarakhand State Medical University:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must meet the age requirements for NEET-UG -2024 Uttarakhand State Centralised counselling are as per the latest guidelines/orders issued by NTA (NEET UG -2024 exam conducting body)/Hon'ble courts/ NMC/ DCI/ Government of India.
• The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English and scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying examination.
• In the case of applicants belonging to a scheduled caste/tribal group or other backward class, the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying examination shall be 40% instead of 50% as in the case of applicants from general class/EWS.
• In addition, the minimum score of 45% for general applicants (PH & EWS-PH ) also applies to those with a disability.
• They must meet all eligibility criteria listed in the NEET UG -2024 Information Bulletin and have passed the NEET UG -2024 exam.
• Applicants who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High School (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations from a recognized educational institution in the state of Uttarakhand.
