How to Apply for JKCET 2023 Counselling?

The candidates must complete the online preference form to participate in JKCET 2023 counselling. On the form, candidates will indicate their preferences for seats in the B.E/B.Tech disciplines of the state's government and private engineering colleges. Below are the steps for applying for JKCET 2023 counselling.

  • Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website - jkbopee.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Fill out the necessary information throughout the JKCET counseling registration process.
  • Step 3: After successful registration, candidates will receive login information on their registered email address and mobile number.
  • Step 4: Candidates must sign onto their accounts and choose their top college preference and most preferred preference in that order, then second, third, fourth, and so on.
  • Step 5: Candidates must select at least one discipline or college preference. No candidate may move on without indicating a preference.
  • Step 6: Candidates can change their options before submitting the JKCET 2023 counselling preference form.
  • Step 7: Then, before the deadline for submitting the form, pay the required fee online.

1. JKCET 2023 Counselling Fee 

Candidates can use a debit card, credit card, or net banking to pay online application costs (INR 1200). The bill desk page will appear after clicking the "Make Payment" button. Candidates must print out a copy of their payment receipt after paying the JKCET counselling cost.

2. JKCET 2023 Choice Filling and Locking

Applicants must log in with their JKCET 2023 registration number and select the courses and colleges of their choice. The candidates can view the course-specific, category-specific, and college-specific seat matrixes made public by the authorities before selecting.

All of the candidates' choices must be made according to their preferences. Before the deadline, candidates may additionally add, rearrange, or change their selections. Once the candidates have sealed their selections, no revisions will be permitted.

3. JKCET 2023 Seat Allotment

JKCET seat allotment results will be available online following the conclusion of the first round of counselling. Candidates may apply for the next stage of JKCET 2023 counselling if they are unhappy with the result.

JKCET seat allotment process 2023 will be based on merit and preference, and candidates must enroll in the college within the allotted time by submitting original educational and academic records, category certificates, etc. A simulated seat allotment result for JKCET 2023 will first be made public by the authority following the conclusion of the choice-filling process. 

4. JKCET Counselling 2023 Mock Allotment

JKCET mock allotment aims to inform applicants of their admission prospects based on their merit and desired seats. The candidates can change their selections after the JKCET mock allotment result is revealed. The officials will release the true JKCET seat allotment after the mock allotment. By logging in with their login information, candidates will be able to check the status of their allocation in the online mode.

During JKCET 2023 counselling, there will be two rounds of JKCET allotment, a prolonged second and a special round. The candidates must download and print the JKCET 2023 provisional allotment letter.

5. JKCET Counselling Reporting 2023

To confirm their JKCET 2023 admission, the shortlisted candidates must appear at the institutions they have been assigned. After reporting to the institute, the candidates must present their documentation and allotment letter. The candidates must additionally pay the appropriate JKCET counselling fee.

  • Domicile Certificate: An applicant must produce a domicile certificate to authenticate his/her residential status.
  • SSC Certificate: 10th Mark sheet & passing certificate of the candidate must be produced for JKCET counselling 2023.
  • HSC Certificate: 12th Mark sheet & passing certificate of aspirants who fulfilled the eligibility criteria of JKCET 2023.
  • Caste Certificates: Reserved category applicants should produce their caste/community certificate. This is mandatory for SC/ST candidates.
  • Payment Copy: After payment, the challan copy must also be brought for counselling.
