CLAT Exam Centres 2025: New Test Centre List, Exam Instructions

CLAT Exam Centres 2025 list includes different states of India, e.g., Mumbai, Kanpur, Kolkata, Cuttack, and many more. The exam centres are decided by the Consortium of NLUs and released on the official webpage, i.e., consortiumofnlus.ac.in. As per the media reports, two new cities, Diu and Silvassa, were previously added to CLAT 2025 exam centres list.

According to CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines, the exam will be cancelled if any prohibited items are found. CLAT exam will be held in around 130 test centres in 23 states and 2 union territories. Candidates can choose up to three centres when filling out the CLAT 2025 application form.

Aspirants must follow the CLAT UG dress code rules set by the organization. Any candidate who does not comply with them will be disqualified from the exam. CLAT exam centres 2025 are divided into different states and union territories of India. In the table below, students can find the names of the cities where CLAT 2025 will be held. Changes in CLAT 2025 Exam Centres

Some corrections have been made in CLAT exam centres in Kolkata and Bhopal. Below are the corrections made in the CLAT exam centers 2025 at Bhopal and Kolkata centres.

• Candidates who had been allotted the CLAT exam centre at Sarojini Naidu Govt Girls' Post-Graduate College, Bhopal, are now informed that due to unavoidable circumstances, the Centre has been cancelled, and candidates are assigned to other CLAT test centres within Bhopal city. Candidates are requested to log in and download their updated admit card.
• Candidates are allotted CLAT exam centres at IES College of Technology, Bhopal; please note the change in the test centre name. The new CLAT test centre name is IES Public School. The address of the test centre remains the same.
• The Kolkata CLAT exam centre name has been changed from the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, to the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. However, the CLAT exam centre address remains the same for the institute.

How to Choose CLAT Exam Centres 2025?

At the time when the candidates would be filling out their CLAT forms, they would be asked to choose three cities where they can conveniently take the test. Out of all the options provided, the candidates must choose the three closest to their town of residence.

They are also advised to arrange them in the order of preference, as the Consortium of NLUs tries its best to allot a CLAT exam centre in the first city chosen by the candidate.

The allotment will also depend upon the capacity of the CLAT exam centres 2025 situated in the city. If the number of candidates is high or considerably lower than expected, the Consortium will allow the centre in the second city chosen by the candidate.

How to Update CLAT 2025 Exam Centre Preference?

If students want to update their exam centres they can do so through an option to update Clat exam centres 2025 on the portal. Candidates can follow the steps below to update the cities where they prefer to appear for CLAT 2025.

• Step 1: Candidates must go to the official website of CLAT 2025.
• Step 2: Applicants must log in to their CLAT 2025 user account.
• Step 3: They need to find and click on the "edit application" link.
• Step 4: Candidates must select the tab to update CLAT test centre preferences and click on it.
• Step 5: Finally, they must select any three test centres in the order of preference and submit their choices.

Steps to Edit the CLAT Exam Centres 2025 Preference

In the application edit portal, students can edit their exam centre preferences. Candidates may alter the CLAT exam centres they have selected for CLAT 2025 by doing the following actions:

• Step 1: Candidates must visit consortiumofnlus.ac. to see CLAT 2025's official webpage.
• Step 2: By entering their mobile number and password, aspirants can access their CLAT account.
• Step 3: After clicking, applicants need to select "Preferences" from the "edit application" menu.
• Step 4: They must change the CLAT exam centres 2025 to reflect their preferences.
• Step 5: After selecting "next," candidates must check the declaration box.
• Step 6: At last, they must submit the CLAT application.

Candidates Using Scribe in CLAT 2025

Applicants who qualify as Specially Abled Persons (SAP) will have 40 minutes to complete the exam. This group would include conditions like blindness, poor vision, locomotor difficulty, mental retardation, hearing loss, and other impairments.

They must have a certificate of disability issued by an appropriate agency. Candidates who have disabilities can also gain from using a scribe. Candidates must have mentioned during registration if they need a scribe during the exam.

The required documentation must be uploaded in photocopy (attested by Gazetted officers). A list of the necessary documents is provided below:

• A declaration states whether the candidate will bring a scribe or the CLAT officials will supply one.
• If the candidate hires a scribe, they must sign a statement promising to uphold all laws and regulations and refrain from unethical behaviour, such as helping the candidate with their answers. They are just expected to read the questions and mark or click on the appropriate responses.
• A certificate of incapacity from the appropriate authority is needed.

Documents To Be Carried to CLAT Exam Centre

The applicants must carry certain documents to the CLAT exam centres in 2025 to be allowed to write the exam. These documents include the CLAT 2025 admit card and any of the following photo ID proofs.

CLAT Exam Centre Instructions 2025

The candidates will find CLAT exam centres 2025 allotted to them mentioned in their hall tickets. CLAT hall tickets will also contain specific instructions, which the candidates will be expected to abide by once they reach the CLAT exam centre. Some of those instructions are discussed below:

• Candidates are required to select the CLAT centres at the time of application for the CLAT 2025.
• The aspirant must wear garments with half sleeves. They should also not wear badges or large buttons that could be utilized to conceal goods.
• Candidates must wear light-coloured clothing to eliminate the possibility of concealing any type of cheating material.
• All candidates must carry a printout of the CLAT admit card and a government-issued photo ID proof to the CLAT exam centre.
• The candidates must refrain from bringing their valuable personal belongings to the CLAT exam centre, as it may or may not have the facility to store the article safely.
• The candidates must refrain from bringing books, study notes, phones, or any other articles of a similar kind.
• Entry to the CLAT exam centres 2025 will not be allowed if the candidate is not wearing a face mask.
• The candidates are advised to report to the examination centre at least 45 minutes before the reporting time.
• Given COVID-19, the Consortium has issued a medical self-declaration form and the admit card. Candidates are advised to sign and carry the declaration on CLAT exam day.
