CLAT Seat Allotment 2025 will be released by the consortium of NLUs on its official website, consoritumofnlus.ac.in on Dec 26, 2024 in the form of first merit list. The shortlisted candidates must pay the confirmation fee and exercise their confirmation options in order to participate in CLAT counselling 2025 procedure. The seat allotment list is published after each counselling round.
The second CLAT merit list 2025 will be out on Jan 10, 2025 followed by the third merit list on Jan 24, 2025. CLAT conducts multiple rounds of seat allocation depending on various factors. How to Check CLAT Seat Allotment 2025?
The consortium of NLUs has clubbed the seat allotment and counselling process together. CLAT Seat Allotment 2025 result is based on the CLAT scores students get. It involves students scoring high marks in the CLAT exam to get the college of their choice.
The consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT 2025 seat allotment list on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Students can follow the steps below to download the CLAT allotment list 2025:
- Step 1: Log in to the official consortium of NLUs website.
- Step 2: Click on the CLAT seat allotment lists for relevant round on the CLAT official website.
- Step 3: The CLAT seat allotment list 2025 will appear. It will include the candidate application number, name, etc.
- Step 4: Students may download the list and review it for their name and the course they have picked.

Process of Seat Allotment of CLAT 2025
Students who have qualified for the CLAT exam must ensure their rank is eligible for CLAT counselling. The consortium of NLUs does not entertain any allotment requests once the deadline has ended.

- Step 3: Students who find their name on the invite list are sent a call letter for counselling. It can be downloaded by logging on to the official CLAT website.
- Step 4: The registration fee must be paid for the counselling process. This fee will be adjusted with the NLU college fees students pick for admission. Students must also submit documents for verification, either online or offline.
- Step 5: CLAT counselling is conducted in 5 rounds. Students allocated seats with each list can either Float, Freeze or Exit the counselling process. The “Float” option means proceeding to the next round of counselling, and “Freeze” implies satisfaction with the current seat allocation. The “Exit” option means students want to exit the counselling process altogether.

- Students must check their status for seat allocation on the official CLAT website once the counselling process starts.
- The CLAT call letter can be downloaded from the official website.
- If students choose to “Exit” the seat allocation process, they shall not be considered for any further college seats.
- If vacant seats are left after the five rounds of counselling, the consortium of NLUs will conduct a mop-up round. Students may apply to the mop-up round to fill the remaining seats.
