Subjects: Candidates applying for the TNEA 2024 must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for their class 12 or equivalent exam.

TNEA eligibility criteria for 2024 for Mining Engineering is basically for female candidates willing to study the program. Female candidates must therefore note the following details.
As per Mines Act 1952, 46, no woman will be employed if the work is in:
- Any part of mine below the ground.
- Any mine above ground except between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm.
As per Coal Mines Regulation 1957, 86, no woman or adolescent will go up or down using a shaft in a cage or other means of conveyance unless one or more adult males accompany them.
They have to meet the academic norms of Anna University.
