UGC NET Application Form 2024 (Closed): Correction Window for December Session

The UGC NET Application Form 2024 for the December session was released on November 19, 2024, on the NTA's official website. The application window was available from November 19 to December 11, 2024 (extended). The last date for application fee submission was also extended till December 12, 2024. The application correction window was activated from December 13 and 14, 2024 (Extended).

In addition, candidates must note that they need to pay the prescribed NET form fees after filling out the application form. The UGC NET exam fee for the general category is INR 1150/-, for OBC, it is INR 600/-, and for SC/ST, the fee is INR 325/-. NTA released the form for the UGC NET 2024 examination on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Moreover, applicants must keep a copy of their filled UGC NET 2024 application form for future reference. The dates for the UGC NET December session have been revised. The UGC NET 2024 examinations for the December session will now be conducted from January 3 to 16, 2025, instead of January 1 to 19, 2025.

Step 2: UGC NET Registration and Login 2024

Students who are already registered on the official website can directly log in using their UGC NET Application Number and Password.

• UGC NET 2024 Registration: New users must register themselves on the official website to apply for the UGC NET application form 2024. Candidates can complete the registration process by filling in the required details.
• Terms and Conditions: After logging in to fill up an application form, "Terms and Conditions" related to the exam are displayed. Candidates should go through the Terms and Conditions and then click on "Proceed Further".

Issuing a Duplicate Certificate for UGC NET

Candidates who lost their original UGC NET 2024 certificate can apply for Duplicate Certificates. To get a duplicate certificate, candidates have to submit an affidavit on a Judicial stamp paper, duly attested by the Authority for loss of original certificate issued by UGC.

The affidavit should mention the name of the candidate, their particulars like father's and mother's names, date of UGC NET 2024, Roll number, subject, address, etc. Candidates must state in the affidavit that if they discover the original NET certificate/JRF Award Letter, they will not misuse it and return it to the UGC NET Bureau.

• Payment: Candidate has to pay a demand draft of INR 100/- drawn in favor of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, (Code No. 7687), New Delhi.
• FIR: An attested Copy of FIR registered at the nearest Police Station. The attestation stamp of the Class-I gazetted officer must bear their name, designation, and official address.
