Moreover, applicants must note that the UGC will conduct the examination for the 2024 session. The re-examination date was scheduled to take place between Aug 21 - Sep 4, 2024 in online (CBT) mode.

UGC NET 2024 Score Validity
The validity of the UGC NET score depends on whether the candidate is interested in applying for a JRF position or an Assistant Professor position:
- JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): The validity of the UGC NET score for JRF is four years from the date the UGC NET E-Certificate is issued.
- Assistant Professor: There is no validity period for the UGC NET score for Assistant Professor. This means the UGC NET score is valid for your entire lifetime.
