CUET Admission Process 2025: The CUET 2025 admission steps begin with the announcement of the result, releasing of the merit list and cutoffs of the participating institutes during the counselling process after which the finalisation of seat allotment will take place.

 CUET result 2025 is expected to be released by July 2025. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam that offers admission to 12 central universities in UG, PG, and doctorate programs.

CUET Counselling Process 2025

The CUET admission process is done through counselling. After the release of the cutoff, the counselling dates are issued by the NTA.

The candidates must participate in the CUET counselling process with their scorecard for admission to any of the participating universities.

CUET Counselling Merit List

The CUET Merit List 2025 will be released online after the results are declared on the official website. The merit list can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below for the CUET admission process:

• Step 1: Visit the desired university’s CUET counselling website.
• Step 2: Go to the homepage and click on “CUET 2025 Merit List Link”.
• Step 3: Links specific to subjects are provided. The desired link must be clicked.
• Step 4: A PDF file containing a list of CUET scores and the names of candidates is displayed.

CUET 2025 Admission Procedure: Steps to Follow

The candidates taking the CUET 2025 test must understand the counselling process very well. The steps to follow for the CUET admission process are mentioned below:

• Step 1: The universities participating in the CUET counselling process prepare their merit lists separately. This list is released on the university's CUET counselling website.
• Step 2: Registration for online counselling must be done on the official website by the candidates following the release of the merit list.
• Step 3: The seat allotment for the candidates is done in keeping with the ranks obtained by the candidates in the CUET exam.
• Step 4: The counselling process will be carried out online first, and then offline counselling will be conducted as well.
• Step 5: To confirm the allotment of seats, the candidates must make the payment of the admission fee amount.
• Step 6: An online counselling fee must be paid for the online counselling.

CUET Spot Admission

Following the completion of all the rounds of the counselling process of CUET, the notification for vacancies in the universities, if any, is released online.

This round is also open for all such candidates whose names did not appear in any of the merit lists displayed by the universities. All such candidates must visit the spot for counselling to complete the CUET admission process.

University Admissions through CUET 2025

Students willing to take admission through CUET in universities will be required to meet the cutoff released by the respective state or central universities. All eligible students will be allowed to participate in the counselling process at the colleges.
The basic eligibility criteria for general category candidates to get admission to any of the universities is to have a minimum of 50% in their class 12th marks, and for reserved category candidates, the minimum mark required is 45%.
