CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024

In order to apply for the CUET 2024 entrance examination, the candidates must fulfil the CUET eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority.

The eligibility criteria for the CUET admission process 2024 are listed below:

• There is no age limit for applying for the CUET entrance test.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must have passed the class 12 board examination from a central, state board or any other recognized board.
• For the General and OBC categories, the minimum passing mark in the class 12 board examination is 50%, and the passing mark required for the other categories is 45%.

• Step 2: Provide your name, email address and mobile number to complete the CUET registration process.
• Step 3: Fill out the application form with the details asked for.
• Step 4: Upload scanned images of signatures and photographs.
• Step 5: Pay the CUET application form fees.
• Step 6: Download the confirmation page in case of future reference.

CUET Counselling Process 2024

The CUET admission process is done through counselling. After the release of the cutoff, the counselling dates are issued by the NTA. The candidates must participate in the CUET counselling process with their scorecard for admission to any of the participating universities.

Counselling Merit List

The CUET Merit List 2024 will be released online after the results are declared on the official website. The merit list can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below for the CUET admission process:

• Step 1: Visit the desired university’s CUET counselling website.
• Step 2: Go to the homepage and click on “CUET 2024 Merit List Link”.

Counselling Procedure: Steps to Follow

The candidates taking the CUET 2024 test must understand the counselling process very well. The steps to follow for the CUET admission process are mentioned below:

• Step 1: The universities participating in the CUET counselling process prepare their merit lists separately. This list is released on the university's CUET counselling website.
• Step 2: Registration for online counselling must be done on the official website by the candidates following the release of the merit list.
• Step 3: The seat allotment for the candidates is done in keeping with the ranks obtained by the candidates in the CUET exam.
• Step 4: The counselling process will be carried out online first, and then offline counselling will be conducted as well.
• Step 5: To confirm the allotment of seats, the candidates must make the payment of the admission fee amount.
• Step 6: An online counselling fee must be paid for the online counselling.

Spot Admission

Following the completion of all the rounds of the counselling process of CUET, the notification for vacancies in the universities, if any, is released online. This round is also open for all such candidates whose names did not appear in any of the merit lists displayed by the universities. All such candidates must visit the spot for counselling to complete the CUET admission process.
