OJEE Counselling 2024: Round 1 Registration (Till Sep 26), Link

OJEE Counselling 2024 schedule BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS courses has been released at ojee.nic.in. OJEE 2024 counselling process for round 1 for ST/UT is open till Sep 18, 2024. The round 2 counselling process for Central Counseling will be open from Sep 18 - Sep 26, 2024. The last day of joining for round 2 will be Oct 3, 2024. The round 3 central counselling will be conducted from Oct 9 - Oct 17, 2024.

OJEE counselling 2024 for round 2 for ST/UT will be held from Sep 27 - Oct 9, 2024. The last date of joining will be Oct 9, 2024. The round 3 counselling will be open from Oct 18 - Oct 28, 2024. The last date of joining will be Oct 28, 2204.

There are four rounds of counselling, including registration, choice selection, seat allocation, and reporting. In addition, OJEE result 2024 was declared on the official website. Qualified candidates must participate in the OJEE counselling session for the admission process.

OJEE Counselling 2024 Procedure

OJEE Counselling 2024 process commenced for both UG and PG courses. The seat distribution occurs through centralized counselling, with candidates' JEE Main/OJEE scores used to compile a merit list. In addition, candidates must note that OJEE 2024 counselling is held separately for students who have passed both the JEE Main and OJEE 2024 exams.

Step 1: OJEE 2024 Counselling Registration

• Candidates must visit the official website to participate and OJEE counselling registration for different rounds.
• Name, gender, application number, and birthdate must all be entered before submitting the form.
• Then complete the remaining fields on the OJEE 2024 counselling registration forms, including those for the course, ranks, and marks, as well as those for the category, family income certificate, and papers for educational qualification.
• Choose the entrance test that qualifies for the MBA, MCA, M.Tech/M.Plan/M.Arch, and M.Pharm programs, such as OJEE, GATE, GPAT, NIMCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA.
• After all the information is entered, candidates will receive a password for their accounts and must pay the OJEE 2024 counselling fee of INR 450.

Step 2: Choice Filling/Option locking

• After paying the required fees, candidates must make an OJEE choice, filling in 2024 from a list of the participating colleges for their desired courses and specializations.
• Candidates can alter their order of preference from the list of institutions by adding, editing, deleting, and so forth.
• Candidates must know they cannot be modified after the choices have been frozen. After this, they can freeze their selections and wait for seat allotment of OJEE 2024.

Step 3: Announcement of OJEE Seat Allotment List

OJEE counselling 2024 cell publishes an OJEE merit list/rank list and a seat allotment list for universities that have openings based on the choices made by candidates. The seat allotment list for round two counselling will be published on the official website.

Candidates who want to secure a seat can save their OJEE seat allotment and go to the counselling office. If not, they can skip this round and wait until the OJEE 2024 counselling cell announces the next seat allocation list, as and when it does.

Step 4: Document Verification

• Candidates must submit the necessary paperwork to prove their eligibility for the course to get a spot at the designated colleges.
• They must submit a copy of all the documents online and the original, verified paperwork.
• Additionally, pay the part-admission OJEE counselling fee, which is INR 5,000 for SC/ST/PC categories and INR 10,000 for general categories.
• Following this, candidates receive a final seat allocation letter, including the name of the college, the course, and other pertinent information.
• Additionally, candidates can withdraw after allotment during various rounds of OJEE counselling 2024, and their money will be reimbursed. Activating this option requires paying the part-admission price. The final deadline for withdrawal will be communicated to the candidates.
• The withdrawal after the last date of the OJEE counselling will not be considered, and the money deposited by the candidate will be forfeited.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation

• Following document verification, applicants must report to the colleges to which they have been assigned to turn in their documents and pay the balance of the admissions fee.
• Candidates' admission is revoked if they fail to arrive at the designated colleges within the allocated period.
• Applicants who decline their assigned seats will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent seat allocation round. The remaining applicants who selected an upgrade will be considered for an upgrade.

OJEE Counselling Through JEE Main

After the candidate has qualified for JEE Main, students can go for counselling. There is also counselling for the candidates through JEE Mains exam. Some documents need to be carried to the counselling.

OJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Counselling

Candidates participating in OJEE 2024 counselling are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th for candidates belonging to the general category, while a minimum of 40% aggregate for SC/ST candidates. Also, candidates are required to have passed all the subjects separately.
• Candidates participating in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified NEET (UG) with a minimum qualified rank.
• Candidates must have completed at least 17 years of age. Candidates' parents should be a native of Odisha state and present the resident/ nativity certificate during document verification.

OJEE Web Counselling 2024

The following documents must be on hand for OJEE web counselling 2024. The part-admission fee for selected candidates is either INR 10,000 or INR 5,000, depending on the category. The fee may be paid online only through BILLDESK/SBI/HDFC Payment gateway.

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling procedure but have not previously registered with OJEE must carry a separate draught of INR 1000. The following certificates, both original and photocopies, must be carried by candidates:

• CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GATE/GPAT/NIMCET rank card or scorecard for OJEE 2024, JEE (Main), or NEET 2024, depending on the course.
• OJEE BAMS/BHMS enrollment form
• Certificate and grade sheet from the Class 10 board
• Certificate of completion for Class 12 and mark sheet
• A necessary Odisha residency certificate from a revenue officer with at least the rank of tahsildar.
• The government of Odisha has provided birth certificates for SC/ST people.
• For the fiscal year 2021–2024, TFW candidates' income certificates
• Green card issued by the government of Odisha's Family Welfare Department
• Documents/Certificates supporting NRI
• Candidates in the EWS category must have a Tahsildar/Additional Tahsildar EWS certificate.

A certificate stating that the applicant has worked full-time for at least two years in a recognized company engaged in the relevant field for admission to MTech (Part-Time) courses.

During document verification, the candidate must show a No Objection Certificate from the current employer for course admission.

• OJEE receives the list of qualified ex-serviceman candidates from the Rajya Sainik Board. Only those applicants will be considered if the SCB Medical College, Cuttack PC Board report is with the JEE Office. Only candidates the Board has approved as eligible will be considered for the PC quota.
• All female candidates must produce a resident or birth certificate from the relevant Revenue Department.
• Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar to claim the women's quota.
