CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024-25 (Modified): Check New Exam Pattern
The Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the CBSE class 12 exam pattern 2024-25. There will be more competency-based questions in the CBSE 12th board exam 2025. Moreover, the number of constructed response questions will decrease by 10 percent compared to the previous year.
Per the revised exam pattern, competency-focused questions in the form of MCQs/ case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, or any other type will carry 50% weightage, select response type questions (MCQ) will have 20% weightage, and short/answer type questions will carry 30% weightage.

CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024-25: Passing Criteria
The passing criteria for CBSE class 12 are the same as before. A student has to score 33% marks separately in theory and practical papers. Check the Important points regarding the passing criteria of the CBSE class 12 2024-25 exam.
