The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) declared the NIOS 10th result 2024 on 27 June 2024 on the official website. Students who appeared for the April/ May session 2024 can check their results by entering the necessary details. Moreover, the results includes subject-wise scores, overall score, and qualifying status. 

Previously, the NIOS board results for the April/May session 2024 were declared on 22 June 2024 for class 12th students. Candidates can check their NIOS board exam results by entering their enrollment number on the official portal. Students can use the online NIOS board result 2024 provisionally by taking its printout and getting it attested by the head of the institution.

How to Check NIOS Result 2024 Online?

The step-by-step procedure to download NIOS board result 2024 online for class 10th & 12th is given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NIOS - nios.ac.in.
• Step 2: Click on the "Public Examination Results" link on the home page. 

• Step 3: Select the "Check Result" option.
• Step 4: Candidates are then required to enter their "Enrollment Number" and click on the "Submit" button to get the NIOS board result 2024.

• Step 5: Download and save the result for the future reference. 

How to Check NIOS Result for Class 10th/12th Using Digilocker?

The step-by-step procedure to download NIOS board result 2024 class 12 and class 10 using Digilocker is given below:

• Step 1: Students have to register themselves on DigiLocker.
• Step 2: There will be a "Sign In" tab in the upper right-hand corner and a "Sign Up" tab beside it. If you do not have a Digilocker account, you can create one via the "Sign Up" tab. Clicking on the tab will take you to the next page.
• Step 3: Here, you will have to give your mobile number or your Aadhaar card number linked to a working mobile number. You will receive an OTP for confirmation.
• Step 4: Once you enter your mobile number or your Aadhaar card number linked to a working mobile number, you will receive an OTP that you will have to enter here. If you do not receive it within 30 seconds, you can request a new one.
• Step 5: Once you successfully enter the OTP, you will be asked to create a new DigiLocker account. You will need to provide the following information for NIOS 12th result 2024 and NIOS result 2024 class 10:
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Email ID
• Step 6: Once the account is created successfully, the students can easily check the NIOS result 2024.

How to Check NIOS Result for Class 10th/12th Using SMS?

Apart from using conventional methods for checking the NIOS class 10 and Inter results 2024, students may also check their scores using SMS.

• Type the text in the following format - NIOS12 (SPACE) Roll Number

NIOS Board Result 2024 Details

NIOS result sheet will contain the following information and students should verify all the details. If any mistake is found, then they must connect with the NIOS office for immediate rectification. Candidates must take care of the following details in the NIOS result 2024:

1. Candidate's Name
2. Enrollment Number
3. Roll Number
4. Registration Number
5. Name of the School
6. School Code
7. Subject Code and Name
8. Marks Obtained (Theory & Practical)
9. Total Marks
10. Percentage of Marks Obtained

NIOS has announced that a single open board result document will be announced instead of the mark sheet, provisional certificate, and final pass certificate.

• In the new document, the "PASS" word will appear, and four crosses will be there if the candidate fails the exam.
• The term "fail" will not be mentioned in the document.
• In case of improvement, the same document will be issued indicating PASS 'Appeared for Improvement'.
• This will also be applicable for any previous students applying for duplicate or correction in the document as well.
• Moreover, the institute will issue transfer-cum-migration certificates separately to the successful learners.

NIOS Board Result 2024 Rechecking/Revaluation

The board is also allowing the re-checking and re-totalling of marks for class 10th and 12th students only. Candidates who appeared for NIOS class 12 exams may apply for re-totalling if they are unsatisfied with their marks. 

• The application forms will be released on the official website after two weeks of result declaration.
• INR 50/- is the charge for re-checking per subject.
• Rs. 1000/- per subject (for On Demand Examination). 
• The increase in marks should be at least 5% or more to be reflected on the NIOS class 12 result mark sheet. 

On-Demand Examination System (ODES)

The learner has the option to appear in the examination through NIOS On-Demand Examination System (ODES). Suppose the learner is already a registered learner of NIOS at the secondary or senior secondary level, they can appear in the examination through ODES as per their wish and preparation. However, they are subject to the availability of seats in the examination centre.

Registration for On-Demand NIOS Examination (ODE)

To avail of the On-Demand Examination System (ODES) facility, the learner must be a registered bonafide learner of NIOS, having the enrollment number and a valid identity card. Only online registration is available for ODES for existing learners.

To know the ODE registration procedure, you may visit the NIOS website nios.ac.in (click on On-Demand Examination) link under the "Information About" section. After that, click on online ODE registration for existing learners).

The examination fee for ODE is as under :

• Secondary level Rs.500/- + Rs.200/- extra for a subject involving practicals.
• Senior secondary level Rs.500/- + Rs.200/- extra for a subject involving practicals.

A candidate can appear for ODE at the concerned regional centre or NIOS headquarters, Noida or in the concerned Kendriya Vidyalaya.

For example:

• Delhi region learners can appear for ODE at NIOS headquarters, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
• The overseas learner can appear from any of the ODE centres in NIOS.
• The on-demand examination fee can be paid either through credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Only for overall passed candidates will the mark sheets and other documents be prepared by the M&M unit, Department of Evaluation, NIOS.
• They will be sent to the concerned regional centres for despatch to individual learners.

Other learners wanting a Mark Sheet can send their requests through an application attaching a bank draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of 'Secretary, NIOS', payable at Noida to the Assistant Director (M&M Unit), National Institute of Open Schooling, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida-201309, Uttar Pradesh. ODE online registration is not permitted twice a month in a particular subject.

NOTE: NIOS does not issue any School Leave/Bonafide/Date of Birth/Transfer/Character Certificate separately to its learners.

Issue of Marksheets and Certificates

The candidate shall receive a mark sheet on the NIOS result 2024 class 12 and class 10 declaration through their AI.

• Provisional and migration certificates will be issued to successful learners only.
• The pass certificate will be issued about six months after the declaration of the result.
• No fresh migration or pass certificate will be issued if the candidates pass in the additional subject(s) or improve performance in one or more subjects.
• Only the learner will be issued a mark sheet. Migration certificates will not be issued to learners unless they complete their course of study.

Note: If the learner notices any discrepancy in the result after the declaration of the result of public examination/on-demand examination, they will have to apply for the same to the concerned regional director. Learners should do this within 30 days of the declaration of the NIOS 10th result 2024 and NIOS 12th result 2024.
