The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) will conduct the AP Intermediate Exam for the first-year exam 2025 from March 1 to March 19, 2025, and the second-year exam from March 3 to March 20, 2025. The board released the subject-wise time table of the AP Inter exam 2025 on December 11, 2024, at the official website—bieap.apcfss.in.

The AP Inter syllabus is available for all subjects with topic-wise marking allocation that students must review before appearing for the exam. AP Inter Application Form 2025

AP Intermediate Exam Pattern 2025

The AP Inter exam pattern helps students to be aware of the duration, exam marking style, difficulty level of examination, and different types of questions. Students must secure a minimum of 35 percentile per subject to pass the AP Intermediate exam 2025. Moreover, the exams are to be conducted for a total of 3 hours.

The AP Inter exam pattern is divided into four categories. 

1. Subjects with a maximum of 100 marks: English, Optional Languages ( Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Urdu, Arabic, Tamil, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi), Commerce, Economics, Civics, History, Geology, Home Science, Sociology, Logic, Public Administration and Psychology.

2. Subjects with maximum marks 75 marks: Maths and Geography

3. Subjects with a maximum of 60 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany

4. Subjects with a maximum of 50 marks: Music

AP Intermediate Grading System 2025

AP Intermediate Exam 2025: Grace Marks Criteria

AP Inter exam 2025 follows the below criteria to award grace marks to the students:

• The grace marks will be 5%, 4%, and 3% of the maximum marks for papers, respectively, for A, B and C grades.
• Preference will be for attaining a minimum mark for becoming 'Eligible,' i.e., grade D+.
• Also, students who have 75% aggregate marks but need less than 10% to pass in one subject are awarded grace marks.

AP Inter Supplementary Exam 2025

The Andhra Pradesh Board supplementary exams are conducted for students who fail the board exam. The AP Inter supplementary exams will be conducted in May 2025 (tentative). Students can download the Andhra Pradesh Board compartment exam routine from the board's official website.

Only students who fail in less than three subjects are eligible to take the compartment examination. Students must submit AP compartment exam registration forms within the stipulated time to get the AP Inter supplementary exam hall tickets. The BIEAP board will release the AP Inter supplementary exam result 2025 in June 2025 (tentative).
