The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will release the ICSE class 10th timetable of improvement exam for the session 2024-2025 on its official website. CISCE provides its students a second chance if they cannot clear the main examination by conducting supplementary examinations, now called "improvement exams." The ICSE class 10th improvement examination will be tentatively held in July 2025 in the morning shift from 11 AM to 1 PM.
In a meeting held by board members on December 7, 2023, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) discontinued the supplementary exam with the ‘Improvement Examination’ for the ICSE and ISC students from session 2024. Students can appear for improvement examinations in only 2 subjects. CISCE will release the date sheet of the ICSE 10th improvement examination in the first week of May 2025 (tentatively).
The schedule for the ICSE improvement examination will be released in the month of June 2025 (tentative), and the exams will be tentatively held in the month of July 2025. The improvement result will be declared in the month of August 2025. It is recommended to visit the official website to check the date sheet when released.

Students who are least satisfied with their exams, can apply for re-evaluation and recheck through the official website of CISCE. Those who want to apply for recheck need to submit the request within 4 days of the release of ICSE papers in an online mode. The head of the school can also request recheck applications through the Careers portal. In the recheck process, it will be ensured that all the answers have been correctly marked, there’s no counting error, and the continuation sheets are intact with answer sheets. After rechecking, the result will be declared through the official website.
If a candidate is not satisfied with rechecking, they can apply for re-evaluation of their papers. Here, answer sheets are checked by subject experts, and then final marks will be awarded. Payment of Rs 1000 for re-check and Rs 1500 for reevaluation need to be done on the basis of per subject and per candidate.

The board will allow students to sit for only 2 subjects for improvement examinations. Students who are given PNCA (Pass Certificate Not Awarded) are eligible for this exam. Students who have appeared for 5 registered subjects and have passed in English along with 3 other subjects can appear for this examination. Candidates need to return the ICSE Board result once they receive a passing certificate in the ICSE improvement exam.
